As simple as it is you'll still have a hard time finding someone to do it. We tried Walmart they said there machine wont work on this car and then we tried a local lube shop and they said because it doesn't have a dip stick they couldn't know if they over filled it lol. Its my wife's car so i wasn't there or i would have told them to just put 4.5 quarts in it. Mine also has what looks like a valve cover gasket oil leak.
So I believe this is a honda issue with the gasket because my car has the same problem. I always thought it was from Changing my oil and it's spilling sometimes in certain areas that I couldn't see. it was like that from pretty much. The day I got hit, which was used. I've put Lucas oil leak stop. To kind of help with that and it's improved it a bit.
why didn't you take out the transmission over flow plug to insure the correct fluid level
Hondas are very easy to do preventive maintenance on
You didn’t finish properly. You’re supposed to open the fluid check bolt and the extra fluid will drip out.

My dealer offers a flush or a change for $275-$360. I am pretty sure I can do this myself.
