Can’t wait for bungie to nerf the jötunn toaster from oneshoting houses and spreading scorch to other houses
-Reduced scorch from giving 50 stacks of scorch to 30
-Ignite radius has been reduced by half
thats only with catalyst because of incandescent
If you pay 50$ more it comes with incandescent
Omg hahahahahahaha
The ignition radius is gonna be crazy
The real question: would taking a bath with the jötunn toaster trigger the riskrunner perk?
No, they share the same slot.
No it automatically gives you full stormcaller super energy
Nah it just makes you poop out 30 orbs of power for you're fireteam
Nothing like tossing a tether at warpriest and then him proceeding to do the cha cha slide
XD
as much as there's nothing like missing in destiny 2 bc aiming in this game is something, while unpredictable enemy movement is something else
"Sliiide to the right!"
why use tether? just run div
Same debuff, div ammo out, div is getting nerfed so better to get used to using tether lol, div nerf is gunna hit you real hard I can tell😂
4:35
I have that Toaster. And it really is literally the same exact Toaster, just without the Jotunn branding on it.
My friend suggested to just print the Jotunn as a Sticker, so I just did that, but with the Izanagi's Logo.
Man i got scammed sooo hard
You put the catalyst with incandescent in the toaster, that's why it almost burned down your house
On renewal grasps. They can absolutely balance things separately in pve vs pvp.
Just make there be no dmg resist in pvp and leave the giant slow dome as is. They constantly make changes that only happen on pve or pvp case in point glaive damage resist is lowered in pvp but unchanged in pve.
Or for example a recent one as of this week, lord of wolves getting a damage percentage buff that only applies in pve but it's pvp damage not being effected by that. There already is different balancing between pvp and pve for certain things and so it's 100% possible to do it for renewal as well
this toaster needs to be an ornament ingame, add a lore to it where we load a slice of bread shaped magazine called T.O.A.S.T. (Terra-Organic Armament Strategic Tech). when reloading it, it pops out a burnt T.O.A.S.T. then rinse repeat
The sandboxes have been seperate for a while now haven't they? There's been several things that have gotten nerfed in PvP that bungie says is unaffected in PvE (titan Behemoth super pop freezing enemies for example is something that only happens in PvE), or the DR getting nerfed from nearby stasis crystals only affecting PvP. Why wouldn't they be able to do that for renewal grasps?
yeah they literally add this info into twabs about differences in values or effects in pvp vs pve. I'm 99% sure that was the reason for some of the recent engine upgrades was so they could enable a separation of the sandboxes
Same thing with Lord of Wolves iirc.
The thing that holds renewals back in PvE is the cooldown, and they don't do separate cooldowns.
@@YaBoiLuuuke Yes they do. Heart of Inmost light has a cooldown of 5 seconds in PvP vs 10 seconds in PvE
@@shionwild4319 Maybe this has something to do with the percentage of cooldown reduction HoiL provides and THAT can be changed?
its funny how people will complain that something needs a buff then they will turn around after it gets the buff they wanted and say "its too op and needs to be nerfed" and then you have people who play crucible and get killed by a wepon one time and instantly start emailing bungie about how op it is
I get killed by ballyhoo on a regular basis, guess it needs to be nerfed.
That's Destiny players for you in a nut shell 🤣 that's a conversation that's been happening forbyears
It took me 3 weeks only doing wellsprings to get the other two exotic glaives .
I just want to enjoy Destiny again :(
try to enjoy destiny challenge (impossible)
Well if Bungie stops nerfing the living shit out of everything
sorry, theyre too busy trying to appeal to the fortnite kids from the epic games deal so they added stuff like SBMM in control to make it hell for the veteran players thatll keep playing no matter what just so they can get a short burst of players... thatll quit soon once they realize how bad this game is for newer players, like maybe fix the OTHER aspects of the game that helps with new player retention that isnt SBMM in crucible because thats at the cost of veteran players' experiences
Bungie needs an actual competitor so they will start taking the game seriously and actually make worthwhile changes
Play D1
I'd buy it for the taste of charcoal and the smoke haven my house will be in 3 seconds
yes when you have the toaster set to max heat the toast burns, prety sure thats how every toaster works, a design flaw for sure but ours is like 1-5 and even having it set to 3 it will burn stuff
I just want my dawn chorus back.
We should get 3 pinnacle engrams for each character that we can focus into any armor piece to make the last bit of power leveling bearable.
3 weeks for legs
What if light level is replaced with stat total? Then masterwork has purpose and farming gear that is better/buildcrafting with better gear is actually more encouraged. Then it even gives progression a purpose to really raid and hunt down gear.
I guess the catalyst for jotuun makes sense now, incandescent but it self burns
In terms of the upgrade module situation, I think once you hit pinnacle level all of your gear should be brought up to the current level. I don’t mind levelling pieces until then because players need something to spend currency on but once you hit cap it’s extremely frustrating sinking a bunch of mats to level up weapons you might only use in 1-2 scenarios. E.g. levelling an arc fusion for kf master daughters challenge. Then the next season you have to rinse and repeat with all the weapons you want to use in endgame.
Personally since they’re depricating the material, I don’t see a point in the actual module itself existing. Why should I have to go to the tower when all I’m doing is the same mf thing we used to do with no upgrade modules before Forsaken, like it makes no sense outside of changing armor affinity but in that case they could just make you pay the equivalent of what an upgrade module would cost anyway. But I also agree with your point, it’s annoying bc when you’re maxed and still have to pay to balance out items
You can change your jotuun toaster to arc burn by dropping it in the bathtub
Can’t wait for a recall on the toasters
Saying anything good about hunter will get you in that situation
There’s this amazing $300 toaster from Japan that the dude should have ordered instead of two Jotuun toasters. It makes toast perfectly.
Yes, people like queuing up to sbmm because it's competitive. See for YOU you might not like a close game but that's probably because when it isn't close for you it is because you have gotten 20 kills and not died, but for players in the bottom 50% when sbmm wasn't here when games weren't close it was always because they were getting stomped and killed 20 times without getting a kill, and the bottom 5 or 10% were basically always having these "noncompetitive" matches that basically meant they got to do nothing until mercy was called.
@@JL32506 go play pve if you want your easy fights then
@@JL32506 you do know that sbmm doesn't connect you to bad connections still, right? It has tolerances for your connection and skill level, it gives you as good balance of both as possible.
Sbmm doesn't make your connection bad, the only reason to not like it is that you are getting more difficult matches, because you are not noticing the like extra 20ms ping that sbmm will allow you to have unless you are a top 10% which once again those players are more concerned that their games just got harder so that they have to put in equal effort as their enemies.
@@JL32506 I'm asking for fair fights, I don't know how you construe that as being scared of fair fights you must be a crazy person. The only ones scared of a fair fight are the ones arguing that they should be allowed to stomp all the time.
Ping is not an issue in d2, other parts of the networking code and in particular network manipulation detection tools are the problem. Those issues are not fixed by minimising ping using cbmm.
Content creators are usually not the peak d2 players, but even the ones that are peak players are still getting matched up with worse players and you know what, I agree with you, they should make sbmm stricter so they don't anymore, it should be more dependent on skill less on connection.
That Titan melee clip is the nastiest thing I've seen since 2 girls 1 cup... what the fuck were you thinking Bungie?!
I've got clan mates with like 60k+ on glaives and they swear by them, especially on void warlock with necrotic grips
When it started to smoke I thought of the moment Hitchcock and scully set fire to the kitchen sink in Brooklyn Nine Nine
Honestly the best way to deal with Power Level in my opinion is not through gear, but instead by completing activities. Complete 3 Strikes using the current Singe? You get a piece of high stat gear and a bump in your Power Level. Complete a Raid encounter? Get some Raid gear and a bump in your Power Level. It shouldn't be tied to RNG gear drops anymore. It's annoying to be missing a high Power Level helmet, and be stuck that way for possibly weeks before you get it.
the solution, let me hold more then 25 modules.
I remember getting made fun of for trying to use the toaster as a toaster. The repeated comment was, "This is a collectors item, you aren't supposed to open and use it."
Then what the fuck is point in it? If it’s just gonna sit there, then I’ll just get the box from someone who buys the toaster. Boom. We both have something to look at and collect dust. If I’m buying something, I’m gonna use it.
I can just hear thermite from r6 saying “it’s about to get hot.”
They need to make competitive and non competitive control
The tether attaching to a boss was a thing in D1
Haven’t touched wellspring all season
Master sweat has posted
Gms should be pinical cap only, no artifact levels
A burned bread is the best bread
If they made a toaster that looked like Jotunn heck yeah I would have gave them $100 for that.
Love you sweat but when you're like "I wish I was fighting these cheeseburgers!" It's precisely why people like sbmm
Wow! I'm the Jotuun toaster purchaser you roasted for buying 2 lol. I explained in the post, but Jotuun was my best Destiny friend's favorite exotic and it was going to be his Christmas gift. The 2nd was a gift for another clan mate I'm really close to. Jotuun was sort of an inside joke between us 3, and we had really bonded over quarantine so I wanted to get them something funny and memorable. I obviously didn't know how low quality the toaster was or that it was a fire hazard because I bought it the day it was first available. Once I found out about these things I tried to get in contact with them to get the order cancelled/changed but then a year+ of Bungie silence followed.
I understand it's funny to get loud and laugh about some idiot buying 2 Jotuun toasters but I feel like Bungie are the real idiots who can't operate an online store front, or respond to a single email within a timely (year and a half) manner, and only do ANYTHING if reddit/twitter makes a stink over it.
ima draw sweatcicle in a maid outfit
casuals not realizing that i now cannot run fun loadouts in control pretty much ever now
I actually have and use the Jotunn toaster, ya'll got it turned up way too high if it's smoking and burning bread.
Hope you got good insurance...
Bro, I would love if they gave you an option to infuse your WHOLE vault to your current power level for ascendant shards or some end game resource so when you're at the end game with hundreds of guns you don't have to infuse it every time you deice you want to use another weapon or armor set. (For instance, between grandmasters and trials, it gets annoying to infuse loadouts and armor on all 3 classes and then, when I make a new build I have nothing left to use as infusion material, or If I just want to use a fun gun in endgame that's been sitting in my vault for god knows how long I can't cause I can't infuse it) its just a problem for end game players and this would be an end game solution.
Oh yeah and don't forget you have to do all of that again every season
What is the song in the beginning
Wait what is that renewal grasp guy talking about, they were explicitly only nerfed in pvp
Nice toast 🔥🍞
(CB even took a bite)
A lot of people that say upgrade mods are easy to get, yea they play for 17h a day we can't all grind non stop
How come you get your toaster and I dont
I love people being annoyed when they have to fight people their own skill level because of sbmm
7:00 depends which console you’re on my d2 is still slightly smaller than red dead 2 not by much but still
were is my so good and tasty
CBS face😂😂😂 aghgaggggghhh🤣
We should switch to an XP leveling system instead of power levels, with some activities such as raids and dungeons giving higher XP for completions
Man that sounds a lot like something in the game... I can't quite put my finger on it... anyone have an idea of what key fits this hole in my skeleton?
Now order destiny 2 cook book
I like the taste of burnt toast
Honestly, a reasonable solution to the light level issue is to replace 'light level enabled' with a 'light level requirement' + contest mode.
You need to meet a minimum requirement, but you don't need AS MUCH, and you can't overlevel it.
At the very least, they should make Trials be a 'light level minimum' instead of 'light level enabled'.
What lobbies does he have then bro
YEP “Cran”
Idk, maybe I might add some butter on that 🤤
Just get the mitsubishi toaster
I still haven't opened my toaster. Truthfully I only bought it for the emblem
Are we not gonna talk about the clip where the titan was wearing loreley splendor… on arc…. No? Alright I’ll head out
Nah man that’s the new meta, simply use exotics wrong
glaives are not that bad at all and should not be removed from the game. That post was only talking about the exotics which could use a rework
Couldn't agree more, glad I saw someone else with this point. I love glaives, legendary of course, but they've really become part of my play style a I they have an insane amount of utility
The glaves have their strengths and weaknesses like for example the titan exotic glave has a miniature bubble the hunter version has like a chain lightning shot the warlock version has a summon
@@Hellspawn4u I personally enjoy the craftable legendary glaives more than the exotic ones. But I really love glaiv3s, really adds diversity to gameplay style
@@grizzlybehr1902 I know right especially when they have the unstoppable champion mod
@@Hellspawn4u chefs kiss* perfections 😆
I really do want to know does evanf1997 live in the house with them?
Legendary glaives are good. The exotic ones are remarkably bad.
Also the D3 idea was kinda bad, they don't need to make a whole new game to make changes (because nobody, and I mean NOBODY wants to start over again for a third time lmao), they just need to collectively pull their goddamn finger out of their ass and actually dedicate a season to a core systems overhaul, and then one more to a core playlist refresh.
OH SHI
Lol
Is there not a nob on it to turn the shit down?
Slot leveling is the answer. Always has been.
What do you mean by "slot leveling"?
@@roadogsc That whatever your highest power level in a certain slot all that slot gets bumped to that level. So if let's say you get 1578 heavy weapon and thats your highest heavy then all your heavies get bumped to 1578
@@scottieb2943 spitting facts
@@scottieb2943 One thing I want to point out real quick just in-case, is that the game sees it this way. So you don't need to equip your highest level gear to get higher level gear to drop.
If you know this and purely just want to not have to infuse weapons, then can you explain the benefits this has? If you get rid of upgrade modules but keep infusing, then it keeps the mechanic of needing to infuse properly and not wasting a high level weapon on a gun that you don't use. While also getting rid of a resource sink that just annoys rich players and holds back new players.
@@roadogsc I know thats how the game sees it and is coded which makes it even more of a reason to go to slot leveling. I don't want to keep infusion fodder around or hope for something to drop at level because I want to try different weapons in master or grandmaster content. I have thousands of cores and mats so modules aren't a problem for me but its annoying and hamstrings choices
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO NO LIFE TO BE GM LEVEL. less than 8hrs a week and im there with VERY bad pinnacle luck
Bro I'm lucky if I get 1 hour a week
people who take pvp seriously are going to have a bad time. but if you go into it not caring if you win or lose youll be chillin
Don't the player base issues out way the positives of a D3? Remember how pissed people were when D2 was announced? History will just repeat itself with less patience.
Joster
Why force +15 artifact that really limits who can do it. If sucks not being able to play with a friend who isn’t +15 but is 1580
Don't worry I'm your fellow Guardian who says yes to D3. I too have many reasons for D3 needs to be a thing.
Destiny is just never gonna be at a point where it’s firing on all cylinders. One part of the game always sags while they work on other parts.
I like the D1 form of infusing, if you have the materials then you can infuse it without having to buy a specific thing
Yeah, like there was literally no issue with it. The only reason it was changed in D2, is so we would grind...
The only problem with d1 infusing system is that you need to calculate the power level increase
@@dragon28394
Which honestly wasn't that problematic.
@@dragon28394 Not anymore, they changed that ages ago
2:22 I do kinda agree with the level staying otherwise D2 might evolve into Warframe in the terms of mod builds for weapons/abilities as it would be the only thing that you would need to keep updated. Maybe bungo could add powerful tier rewards scaling down as you do activities after doing pinnacles to help with the Power lvl grind a little bit and keep the current system eg. Do 3 games of PvP and maybe do a different objective for a powerful (maybe kill 25 opponents for tier 3 or something) which then can scale down to T2 and a basic powerful drop. As for seasonal artefact boosting, I think it should matter up to some extent (like damage in lower level activities with a high power level, altho I think that’s how it is anyway), say +15 power or something the rest of the power level can be used a bit more in master/GM content or something with more of a usage cap (maybe something like +25?). Other than that idk tbh power level is kinda earned through just playing the game and I sometimes think players overthink it a bit sometimes with shit like a +30 or +40 artefact power boost. Not too sure what to do in regards to the power level department
lmao the sbmm post. that's always my favourite thing, the bottom 5% go on about it being soooo much better now that their matches are competitive as if we didn't have a whole ass sbmm playlist literally called competitive specifically for the people that want that for their pvp games. Just because you absolutely refuse to practice in any way shape or form shouldn't mean the players that actually liked and practiced pvp the whole time now don't have a casual mode outside of mayhem lol
To be honest i hate the fact that i have to get to +15 power in order to play GM's. That is a lot of playtime and grinding for people who cant play that much. Or those who dislike bounty grinding.
*Yeah idc the dude who spent 200$ on the toaster deserved what he got💀*
Destiny 3 is needed , ditch that spaghetti code and put them billions into a better Destiny game
Destiny 3 fix’s nothing
… do sweat, Evan, and gray live together?
As much as I want a d3, I doubt they will make one. I kinda feel that they want to end this game and start a new ip? Plus d2 story needs to end first.
Ok, seriously, SBMM IS kinda weird, I know for a fact I'm not that good in Crucible and I'm matched against like top 200 or even 100. Like wtf...
I’ll be back
I think you misunderstood that users indented use of the word "competitive" In this sense, the user was saying the lobby wasn't full of people using only meta and stomping them. They were saying that the lobby was more balanced and created an environment they felt they could stand a chance in. "Competitive" in this sense was being used as it's original adjective form used to describe ones ability to compete within a given skill range. If someone loads into control without SBMM and there is a stack of unbrokens on the enemy team it's no longer a fun lobby, it's a respawn simulator. Instead of using the word "competitive" which is now a word used to describe a specific kind of playlist, it should be said that they enjoyed lobbies they felt like they could genuinely win with a little work and a little luck AT their respective skill level. Without SBMM, high skill players take advantage of casual players in casual playlists. There are high skill players/ meta players that have VERY basic meta loadouts that they rarely ever change and they just steamroll crucible for whatever purpose.
On the other hand, bungie over-policing lobby disconnects and timing people out in control IS against the "casual" playlist ideals.
bruh why nerf the living shit out of everything it's not going to fix everything
All I say is that Grandmasters system sucks and it should be made more challenging but easier to access. Make the gm light level 30 and make players locked at 0 power. Then just lock them behind completing the season pass or smthn
9:35 nope that bs fire pack. Course it instantly kills them.. still the worst dungeon currently. The number of runs wasted on that garbage fire pack instantly killing me is just insane.
W sweat W-ish game 👍
My one issue with CZcamsrs or Streamers shitting on SBMM is that they refuse to see the other side of the story
"I don't load up into Control to play a competitive match"
Yeah, and neither did the people you match normally. They loaded in to have fun and they're getting stomped by players they don't have a chance of beating because they're beyond their skill level.
Whether they realize it or not, MOST (not all, but most) people who complain about SBMM are just upset that the game isn't handed to them on a silver platter.
You don't want to play Comp on quickplay? Neither do we.
You don't want to sweat your balls off in the Crucible just to have fun? Neither do we.
You don't want to get stomped by people because you weren't playing your best that day? NEITHER. DO. WE
It's a two-sided card, the only difference is that EVERYONE gets a chance to win with SBMM instead of just praying you match people worse than you. When you're really good at PVP like most streamers are, you're pretty much better than 90% of the folks you play against.
You see these big people in the community (SayWallahBruh is a perfect example. Love their content, but just hear me out) do videos on weapons to test them out and stuff, right? Well, they go into control and don't do all too well because they actually have to try. Then they go "Oh I didn't want to sweat so I went into rumble :)" and they proceed to curbstomp every poor new light that just wanted to try and play some Crucible that day.
Nobody wants to get stomped, nobody wants to sweat really hard just to have 'fun'
But unless you can come up with a good middle ground, don't call SBMM 'bad' because it makes it harder to be better at the game. The alternative is worse for the 98% of players who aren't PVP gods
People just find ways to complain extra because they are bad at the game
I love how sweat keeps trying to think that a d3 is necessary. Both games sucked at launch, no one wants another launch of a new destiny bc there ain’t no way it would work well. Yes, we need mechanical overhaul - but it took them 9 years almost to think of in game LFG and 4 to put in lore into the game directly. I stopped hoping they would do the obvious stuff years ago.
I don't understand sbmm in casual. I average around a 1 kd with some games where the other team is braindead and I do really well, nothing amazing. I can count on one hand the number of control games I've played this season where I haven't played against at least a 3 stack. Most if the time I'm using dipshit strats and guns to try and mix it up, but then some fucking faze clan aspirants are "in my skill gap"
2:12 well that doesnt mean you need to ditch d2 and make d3 . do you have any idea how much time and resources they would waste by porting stuff from d1,2 to d3 ? they are still puting stuff from d1 to d2 . just fix the problem dont avoid it pepega
also fuck the power lvl its sooo damn pointless loot is the chase these days
Funny that they did content vaulting cuz the game was getting too big. Only for it to get too big again. Classic bungie.
what destiny needs is NEW FUCKING CONTENT.
not new missions that are just grind bounties or rerun an activity 300 times a week.
