Spent the first 6 years of my life riding on c2c. So many memories.
Same
I like C2C tbh , very cheap , when I go to Essex for bus stuff I always take it cuz for example a day return ticket to Basildon from London is only £6.30
Have to admit, you got lucky on this occasion, not all the 357 toilets tend to work
Well all c2cs new 720s do
@@UmarooollllZndYT Yeah, I was pointing out the fact with the toilets as even though the 357s are at least 20 years old, they are showing their age with not a lot of stuff working nowadays
Top speed on the c2c network is 75 MPH (not train, but infraestructure-wise).
Haha, I'm still going nowhere. Thanks GTR.
The top speed for the class 357 is 100 but on those lines it’s limited to 75 😊
@@WilliamSucksAtWarzone Another way of saying my comment, including that the top speed of the Class 357 is 100 MPH.
Great video man
Great video
on the 357/3 (metro variants) it’s a 2+2 seating with one seat next to the door which is made for more passengers for standing room and just more passengers in general.
Nice video and review 👍
Thanks
Oyster isn’t valid at Laindon. On services via Basildon, the boundary is Upminster but you can also use your oyster to Ockendon, Chafford Hundred and Grays.
Oh my bad
Yep. Unless you have a Network Southeast rail card which covers Greater London most of the Southeast and South of England. And sadly it does not cover much of the East of England including using it up to Norwich.
Nice video as always.I haven't been on c2c to Southend but been on between Liverpool Street and Barking.I think greater anglia is better with plug sockets(unless you are not on old 321s and 322s)and seats but we will see and compare 720s of these tocs.I wonder how good is 720/6(for c2c) going to be.
I'm still waiting for c2c to start operating the Class 720/6s that is replacing the Class 387/3s and the Class 720/6s will work alongside with the Class 357s. But I think that the Class 720/6 might not enter service until later this year or early next year. But I have been on Greater Anglia Class 720/5.
They’re out!
@@UmarooollllZndYT no they're not
@@georgedowns4034 bruh I said that 7 months ago lmaoo
@@UmarooollllZndYT and? They weren't out then and they still are not out but I'm impatient. I cannot wait till they come out 😭
@@georgedowns4034 lol yes at the time one of my friends told me they were in service and I believed it lol
The trouble with filming at night is that it's dark outside and nothing to see, the 357's need an upgrade refurbishment to bring them up to todays standards with plug sockets etc.
I don't have much choice as i am busy quite a lot, so I couldn't travel in the daylight on this occasion. All of my upcoming videos are in the daylight for the next 9 weeks.
@@danielstripreports the new 720’s of c2c have all the stuff u need!
C2c is getting a new fleet geoff Marshall posted
Buen video
Please make a review on c2c’s new class 720’s
I will when they're in service
Btw the 720s are only replacing the 387s, the 357s are staying
nvn there is no description
My bad I've been busy this week, just added it now.
Not a fan of C2C at all, their trains aren't that old in the grand scheme of things but somehow feel very much more old and dated than they really are.
the 357s were built at a similar time to the 444s and you can see how much more dated they are than the 444s.
Wat about the frequency, high density & livery?
