In this video you will see how I trace a spare part with photos and print it in the 3D printer. Step by step I guide you through the simple process, using only free software.
First, paths are created in Inkscape. Here I show three different options -Automatically trace, use the Bezier Pen to draw a path, Shapes and Path Options. Then, in Tinkercad, a solid is created from the 2D geometry and adjusted.

Schön zu sehen, dass sowas geht. Allerdings wenn ich das in der Zeit kapiert habe muss ich ein fotografisches gedächtnis haben oder einen IQ von 180. Den hab ich leider nicht ;-). Die Musik kann man ja ausschalten da sehe ich kein Problem 🙃. Lieber lamgsamer und mit verbaler Erklärung , aber trotzdem gutes Video und viel Arbeit. Danke für deine Mühe👍

Sweet I bookmarked this video and will likely reference it numerous times. I didn't realize I could take a photo and use that to trace a bitmap. Just got started with inkscape a little while ago. My process was to trace the physical object with a pen on paper then scan and use that. I think there could be a small amount of distortion caused by the camera lense in the photos and the technique I was using is probably good for particular applications but there are obvious advantages to using photos for geometries that would be hard to physically trace to paper.

Süß, ich habe dieses Video mit einem Lesezeichen versehen und werde wahrscheinlich mehrmals darauf verweisen. Ich wusste nicht, dass ich ein Foto machen und damit eine Bitmap nachzeichnen kann. Ich habe vor einiger Zeit mit Inkscape angefangen. Mein Prozess bestand darin, das physische Objekt mit einem Stift auf Papier zu zeichnen, es dann zu scannen und zu verwenden. Ich denke, es könnte eine kleine Verzerrung durch das Kameraobjektiv in den Fotos geben, und die von mir verwendete Technik ist wahrscheinlich gut für bestimmte Anwendungen, aber es gibt offensichtliche Vorteile, Fotos für Geometrien zu verwenden, die physisch schwer auf Papier zu übertragen wären. Meine Verwendung bestand darin, Balsaholz-Flügelrippen für R.C. Segelflugzeug zu 3-D-bedrucktem Kunststoff.

@@brianhutchinson7863 Besten Dank für deine netten Worte und viel Glück bei deinem Projekt. Bei dieser Anwendung sind kleine Abweichungen nicht relevant. Ich glaube dies sollte klar sein, dass es mit dieser schnellen Technik kleine Verzerrungen geben wird.
I doubt that this way is accurate and exact. Since you use a CAD software afterwards, it would be more efficient to measure the broken part and construct it from scratch in the software and get straight lines and exact fit and as a side effect you didn't waste your time while you learn something new.
I can see pros and cons to it. It obviously worked, but I agree its not the most accurate way of doing it (notice the edge that attaches to the wall is curved in the scan). Particuarly without digital calipers. But I can also see that, it may have been easier to get some of the shape and angles of the curves easier than having to measure the angles. But ultimately, this isn't a very complex part, and it wouldn't have been too difficult to construct from scratch. Thats probably what I would have done. However, when you get into more complex objects where getting all of the curves and angles is more important than getting the dimensions exact? I feel like this would be an easier way of doing it. For instance, when I see people trying to reconstruct model kits like cars and robots, they will typically use something similar to this method, at the very least to get a starting shape to build off of.

tolle Idee.
Den Zylinder würde ich jedoch liegend als Hexagon Stäbchen extra drucken und bei dem Halter dafür ein Loch machen. Und dann beides mit Sekundenkleber oder noch besser Holzkleber verleimen. Das was noch in der Luft steht zur Druckplatte ausdehnen. So braucht man kein Stüzmaterial und der Zylinder ist auch haltbarer.
Da es so hergestellt worden ist, liegt am Spritzguss Verfahren.

Ja, hat bestimmt Spass gemacht. Aber die 2€ sind nichts im Vergleich zur Arbeitszeit, Druckzeit und den Kosten...
Alles Recht nett. Aber selber Zeichnen dauert auch nicht viel länger.
Einfach Bild in Fusion rein Maßstab anpassen und wenn du das Originalteil hast kannst nachmessen. is viel genauer

To everyone complaining about the process. This is meant as an example of what is possible. There are use cases where this would come in handy.

Mal ganz ehrlich, warum muss man das so umständlich machen, ich habe schon zig Teile in Tinkercad nachgebaut (Ersatzteile unteranderm von Ikea) und das ohne Foto. Hab es einfach mit dem Messchieber ausgemessen und dann in Tinkercad nachgebaut. Die Idee mit dem Fotos ist nicht schlecht und bei Koplizierten Teilen vielleicht nützliche aber ich wette mit dir dieses Teil hätte ich schneller design als mit dieser Technik
Es geht nur darum zu zeigen wie man es mit dieser Methode umsetzen kann. Wenn du es schneller und besser kannst und es für unnötig hältst, ist das schön für dich, interessiert aber keinen ;)
Ich habe eine Pittiplatsch Puppe. Machst du die auch in tinkercad?
В Fusion это делается в разы проще. Просто рисуешь один скетч со всеми контурами и задаешь каждому контуру свою толщин и положение.
