15:00 the rebranding of the US95 freeway to add I-11 will be done in 2024. southbound I-15 overhead signage ALREADY has the I-11 shield, at least as of Super Bowl LVIII weekend. northbound I-15 overhead signage still has I-515 for southbound US95, and a blank space for northbound US95 where I-11 shields will go.

About the Las Vegas Blvd, some of us know that it's part of the Historic Route 91 and part of Route 466 until you reach Downtown Vegas. Speaking of which, the concurrency of the old US 91/US 466 runs between Barstow and Downtown Vegas. The last eastern portion of Route 466 parallels US 93 up until it meets Kingman which is another Route 66 town.

So, I used to live in Vegas while in school, so, few things:
The big gap in LV Blvd south of Jean is pretty much impassable in a regular car. I drove south once that way, and had to stop when I got to a big ditch.
Jean itself is pretty much done, that last casino is scheduled to close.
The flights to Area 51 are probably out of McCarren actually, not Nellis. Janet airways flies... thereish, daily. Unmarked red and white jets.
Still hilarous to me that Vegas has Interstate Freeways, US Highways on Freeways, and even freaking County routes on freeways, but no Nevada state shields on freeways.

Due to how dry the west is (especially Nevada), 100 here (with a likely 10% humidity) will feel less scorching than even 90 degrees (with even only 50% humidity) along the Gulf Coast. Granted, I’ve grown up in Northern Nevada, so I know which one I’ll take in a heartbeat…

I do highly recommend the Pinball Hall of Fame. Just imagine a great big warehouse full of pinball machines. My favorite thing about it is that most of them were only 25 or 50 cents to play so they definitely don't gouge you there. That and the mob museum downtown were my favorite non-gambling/adult activititties attractions.

Yeah, it was fairly dumpy, long past its heyday years when it was featured for a few minutes in Diamonds Are Forever in 1971. The only thing that CC has going for it is the Adventuredome. When I actually moved here in early August, my dad and I unloaded my stuff in my small apartment (first time living on my own), and drove all the way down to the Stardust where they housed a Tony Roma's...a 600+ mile drive from northern California and all that unloading necessitated a celebration of ribs and beer.

As per normal for these regional videos, I gathered a compilation of musical acts from the locale in question, namely Las Vegas.

    Imagine Dragons
    Panic! At the Disco
    Ne-Yo
    Jenny Lewis (Rilo Kiley)
    Escape the Fate

    Otherwise
    Five Finger Death Punch
    Adelitas Way
    Falling in Reverse
    The Clydesdale
    The Crystal Method
    Big Talk
    Slaughter
    Guttural Secrete
This is all but two of the acts featured in the Nevada quiz I referred to; the others were predictably from Reno, but I’ve never even heard of them. Out of these, I can positively say I’ve only heard of 5 of them, four of them quite a bit.
I’ve only ever been down to Las Vegas once, 13 years ago for an extracurricular competition. I don’t remember the name of the school it took place at, but I remember that while I was accompanied by my father, my brother and mother enjoyed themselves at a casino exhibit called ‘Bodies’. But while we all were together (we left a day before the school team), we did see a Titanic exhibit, and walked along the Hoover Dam (I believe the bridge was relatively new in March 2011).
I’m the only one in my family who isn’t crazy about football, but everyone else attended a Broncos game down there just after this New Year (Denver lost) with tickets from Christmas. I may go down there later this year for my ‘gift’: a drag race course. They joked it’d be practice for me eventually doing an international road trip in Germany…
As fun as that would be, I don’t think it’d be for a while. U.S.-Canada just changes speed units while staying on the dollar. The next logical progression would be switching the side of the road I drive on (best candidates the U.K. and Australia, with the only difference being that one does use the dollar like the U.S. and Canada).

My family are Broncos fans likely because we lived in Colorado from 1996-2000 (my father got his PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Colorado in Boulder). During this timeframe, they won two consecutive bowls. I like to (somewhat) jokingly say that after 2015, the Broncos fell off HARD.

Looking at the Chiefs schedule of opponents for next season, the Chiefs does not play against the 49ers in the regular season next year I will list the opponents that the Chiefs will actually be facing in the main comments section.
EDIT: I stand as corrected the Chiefs does go to Santa Clara next season.

Hey, Todd. Are you excited for Super Bowl LVIII? Will you be watching the match on TV? Also, Taylor Swift might have a chance to attend the Super Bowl right after she finishes her ongoing tour in Tokyo because she's cheering for the Chiefs and of course, Travis Kelce. However, it'll take a day for her to arrive in Las Vegas. And also, I'm not a Swiftie. Lastly, who do you think will win Super Bowl LVIII? I'm predicting the Chiefs to win. Go, Chiefs, go!

I’ll be watching! Would love to go in person to make road-related content on it, but sadly I don’t have 7 grand laying around. Maybe next year if I get an extra couple hundred thousand subs lol.

@ControlCityFreak $7000 is nowhere near enough! I heard hotel rooms are upwards of $10000 a night, and tickets $11000. One interviewee on the local news said he considered $6000 for a ticket to be an amazing deal!

Before the Super Bowl, I was hoping for the Ravens to make the Super Bowl, but no. They were beaten by the Chiefs. If they would've made it to the Super Bowl, that would be Lamar Jackson's dream to come true. In the entire NFL, I go for the Baltimore Ravens. How about you?

Looking ahead to 2024 here are your opponents both at Home and on the Road, bear in mind the order in which the highways in places that the Chiefs will both host and go to will not be determined until May:
Teams coming to Arrowhead in 2024:
Denver Broncos, and the Chiefs will of course go to Mile High Stadium as well: Since Todd has already done the 2 470s, the 2 most likely highways he'll cover next are I-225 and I-270, this probably will mean more $100 assessments to CDOT for each time they have that L town as their control city that Judge Joe Brown operates under California law.
Las Vegas Raiders both at home and at Allegiant Stadium: That might be the appropriate time to do a redux of I-15 on one of those weeks the Chiefs play against the Raiders, the 2nd one that'll be determined by Todd.
Los Angeles Chargers, both at home and at Sofi: There's so much ground in terms of LA freeways yet to be covered that I'll let Todd determine the LA area highways that will be covered for the 2 times the Chiefs and Chargers play against each other.
Ravens: The Baltimore-Washington Parkway is most certainly on the table to be covered
Bengals: I'm going to say that will fall as TBD, Todd has already done 275, 74 and 75
Saints: Either I-12 (2nd take on the former) or I-610
Buccaneers: Florida's I-275, yes there is another I-275 besides the one in the Cincinnati region but it's quite as long as the Cincinnati 275 is
Texans: Maybe one of the large loops that circles around the Houston area or if Todd decides to redo I-12 on that Saints week, I-610
Road games outside of Division opponents:
    Falcons: I-285
    Panthers: I-485
    Steelers: I-376 or I-279
    Browns: Either I-271, I-490 or I-480
    Bills: TBD
    49ers: Also TBD, maybe I-580??????
Thanks for covering these highways all football season long Todd, looking forward to next season and btw beginning this fall, you, Todd and I are now division foes because I'm making the switch to the Broncos starting this offseason. Have a great offseason, looking forward to the next set of highways you'll be covering throughout the long offseason, and keep on trucking.

They just never should have built Mount Davis, would be much better for baseball without it.
