About the Las Vegas Blvd, some of us know that it's part of the Historic Route 91 and part of Route 466 until you reach Downtown Vegas. The last eastern portion of Route 466 parallels US 93 up until it meets Kingman which is another Route 66 town.

Circus Circus was featured in DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER (James Bond, 1971 - when cars could still drive on Fremont Street) And speaking of Fremont Street - The Plaza Casino at the west end was used as "Biff's Pleasure Paradise" for BACK TO THE FUTURE II. I drove south once that way, and had to stop when I got to a big ditch. Jean itself is pretty much done, that last casino is scheduled to close. The flights to Area 51 are probably out of McCarren actually, not Nellis. Janet airways flies... thereish, daily. Unmarked red and white jets. Still hilarous to me that Vegas has Interstate Freeways, US Highways on Freeways, and even freaking County routes on freeways, but no Nevada state shields on freeways.
Park MGM is what used to be Monte Carlo. It's smoke free 100% so we stay there for that reason. Also - there's a Planet Hollywood restaurant at Disney World
Oh yeah, that’s right. I walked through the Park MGM on my last trip and the casino floor looked really familiar. Saw the Lance Burton magic show there in ‘99, and also began my comeback as I’d been down $400 so far for that trip (a king’s ransom when I was 21) moving towards a winning trip 2 days later.
Back in the early 2010s I was a regular in Atlantic City and my bank (Ally) refunded surcharges that ATM owners would charge.. there was no limit and I definitely made use of it using Casino ATMs that charged $5 to make a withdrawal. @tylermarchand2996 The only time I was ever in Vegas it was around the end of June and we visited Hoover Dam. It doesn't matter if it's a dry heat when it's 120°!
I was in Vegas 2 years ago. Stayed off the strip near where Circus Circus is and I did hang out a lot at Bally's and Paris. I had fun there and did not lose too much money. My favorite thing about it is that most of them were only 25 or 50 cents to play so they definitely don't gouge you there. For the Royals' opening weekend against the Twins, have you considered doing a video on one of the many freeways around KC, or in the Twin Cities? Also didnt realize the strip is as long as it is.
@tysonstransitcam2190 As an important New York highway, he’s guaranteed to cover it at some point (along with 287). That could be a viable full length video option.
Driving a 53' refrigerated trailer with a sleeper truck onto the strip to deliver underneath the MGM was quite an experience i had in my career. @ControlCityFreak I see quite a bit of most teams at my factory job, but the two that are the most common are the 49ers and Raiders (keep in mind the Bay Area is only 3.5-4 hours away by car). Hey, Todd. Are you excited for Super Bowl LVIII? Will you be watching the match on TV? Also, Taylor Swift might have a chance to attend the Super Bowl right after she finishes her ongoing tour in Tokyo because she's cheering for the Chiefs and of course, Travis Kelce. However, it'll take a day for her to arrive in Las Vegas. And also, I'm not a Swiftie. Lastly, who do you think will win Super Bowl LVIII? I'm predicting the Chiefs to win. Go, Chiefs, go!
I’ll be watching! Would love to go in person to make road-related content on it, but sadly I don’t have 7 grand laying around. Maybe next year if I get an extra couple hundred thousand subs lol.
@ControlCityFreak $7000 is nowhere near enough! I heard hotel rooms are upwards of $10000 a night, and tickets $11000. One interviewee on the local news said he considered $6000 for a ticket to be an amazing deal!
Before the Super Bowl, I was hoping for the Ravens to make the Super Bowl, but no. They were beaten by the Chiefs. If they would've made it to the Super Bowl, that would be Lamar Jackson's dream to come true. In the entire NFL, I go for the Baltimore Ravens. How about you?
Looking ahead to 2024 here are your opponents both at Home and on the Road, bear in mind the order in which the highways in places that the Chiefs will both host and go to will not be determined until May: Teams coming to Arrowhead in 2024: Denver Broncos, and the Chiefs will of course go to Mile High Stadium as well: Since Todd has already done the 2 470s, the 2 most likely highways he'll cover next are I-225 and I-270, this probably will mean more $100 assessments to CDOT for each time they have that L town as their control city that Judge Joe Brown operates under California law. Las Vegas Raiders both at home and at Allegiant Stadium: That might be the appropriate time to do a redux of I-15 on one of those weeks the Chiefs play against the Raiders, the 2nd one that'll be determined by Todd. Los Angeles Chargers, both at home and at Sofi: There's so much ground in terms of LA freeways yet to be covered that I'll let Todd determine the LA area highways that will be covered for the 2 times the Chiefs and Chargers play against each other. Ravens: The Baltimore-Washington Parkway is most certainly on the table to be covered Bengals: I'm going to say that will fall as TBD, Todd has already done 275, 74 and 75 Saints: Either I-12 (2nd take on the former) or I-610 Buccaneers: Florida's I-275, yes there is another I-275 besides the one in the Cincinnati region but it's quite as long as the Cincinnati 275 is Texans: Maybe one of the large loops that circles around the Houston area or if Todd decides to redo I-12 on that Saints week, I-610 Road games outside of Division opponents: Falcons: I-285 Panthers: I-485 Steelers: I-376 or I-279 Browns: Either I-271, I-490 or I-480 Bills: TBD 49ers: Also TBD, maybe I-580?????? Thanks for covering these highways all football season long Todd, looking forward to next season and btw beginning this fall, you, Todd and I are now division foes because I'm making the switch to the Broncos starting this offseason. Have a great offseason, looking forward to the next set of highways you'll be covering throughout the long offseason, and keep on trucking.

Probably will. They will play next year, as they played in 2022 and both won their divisions
@@ControlCityFreak if the Chiefs play Pittsburgh in a regular season game what road will you do then?
Looking at the Chiefs schedule of opponents for next season, the Chiefs does not play against the 49ers in the regular season next year I will list the opponents that the Chiefs will actually be facing in the main comments section.
EDIT: I stand as corrected the Chiefs does go to Santa Clara next season.
Probably 376.
@@ControlCityFreak do you think you might eventually do an I-25 reboot?
@@tylermarchand2996 I saw as low as 5 on stub hub. But yeah saw the airport Days Inn and places way out in Henderson going for over a grand a night.

CHIEFS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looking ahead to 2024 here are your opponents both at Home and on the Road, bear in mind the order in which the highways in places that the Chiefs will both host and go to will not be determined until May:
Teams coming to Arrowhead in 2024:
Denver Broncos, and the Chiefs will of course go to Mile High Stadium as well: Since Todd has already done the 2 470s, the 2 most likely highways he'll cover next are I-225 and I-270, this probably will mean more $100 assessments to CDOT for each time they have that L town as their control city that Judge Joe Brown operates under California law.
Ravens: The Baltimore-Washington Parkway is most certainly on the table to be covered
Bengals: I'm going to say that will fall as TBD, Todd has already done 275, 74 and 75
Saints: Either I-12 (2nd take on the former) or I-610
Buccaneers: Florida's I-275, yes there is another I-275 besides the one in the Cincinnati region but it's quite as long as the Cincinnati 275 is
Texans: Maybe one of the large loops that circles around the Houston area or if Todd decides to redo I-12 on that Saints week, I-610
Road games outside of Division opponents:
Falcons: I-285
Panthers: I-485
Steelers: I-376 or I-279
Browns: Either I-271, I-490 or I-480
Bills: TBD
49ers: Also TBD, maybe I-580??????
Thanks for covering these highways all football season long Todd, looking forward to next season and btw beginning this fall, you, Todd and I are now division foes because I'm making the switch to the Broncos starting this offseason. Have a great offseason, looking forward to the next set of highways you'll be covering throughout the long offseason, and keep on trucking.
Thanks!
Never care for Vegas Vacation, I find Diamonds Are Forever a better movie
Oakland athletics should have replace Oakland Coliseum back in 2001
They just never should have built Mount Davis, would be much better for baseball without it.
