I will never forget my first Moon Wonderlocke. I had a pretty sweet team, had only lost a couple mons. And then Tappu's Mudstale came along and wiped my Umbreon, my Lucario, and the rest of my team. I never tried to do another Wonderlocke since.

I remember bring like 9 and receiving a level 100 Tapu Koko from wonder trade. I tried using it but since I hadn't finished the game it didn't listen to me, I thought it was defective or something, so I put it up on for wonder trade and got a level 1 ninetales. I realised my mistake soon afterwards

I think that fighting / ice /ground is the most coverage that you can get with 3 types. 12 out of 18
Edit: misscounted the amount of types that fighting and ground overlap. So maybe other combinations could get you the same number

Edit: electric is only super effective against 2 types, flying and water (and ice already covers flying)

For Clefable (in the specific Nihilego Lusamine battle), I used Salazzle. I taught it Taunt, and used it to stall out Cosmic Power and Moonlight, two moves that can get real messy, with both boosting its defenses, and healing itself.

Petition for new Wonderlocke rules:
1. You don't have to Wonder Trade your starter or a legendary.
2. You can't use obviously hacked Pokemon. It's very easy to breeze through the game with your hacked shiny Mewtwo with perfect stats that says it was hatched. This doesn't happen very often, but some people are still getting hacked Pokemon from Wonder Trade.
You're not remembering incorrectly, Lusamine's Clefable during the "demon jellyfish" battle is awful. I hate that thing.
It actually wiped half my team on my moon nuzlocke I am doing and I actually couldn't bring myself to play for a good few days so my 3ds was just left on that battle for ages ash if is so hard

You folks wouldn't survive contact with Juan's Kingdra from Emerald then. Cosmic Power, Moonlight, and Fairy typing with plenty of available Poison and Steel types don't match the sheer annoyance factor of Double Team, ChestoRest, and Water/Dragon typing with practically no available Dragon types. Oh, and Ice Beam if you have Flygon or Altaria.

What did i learn from this always know your opponents and the best way to win a nuzlocke is to just never do one lol
Oh my god. The whole deal with Skarmory, having to raise a member because Hau killed one before the league and then having it die to Hala.. That resonates with me so much cause that exact thing happened in my Sun nuzlocke (which was my 1st). I had my Sylveon die to Hau's Z-move and then had to raise up a Fomantis that took an entire day, only to have it later die to Hala.
I feel the pain that happened here 100%

I remember my first fight with the alola elite 4..... none of their Z-Moves hit me because every time I thought they were about to use one, I swapped in mimikyu. Disguise was sooo busted in sun and moon.
Dont think people realize, but dmax and gmax is basically boosted health and 3 turns of Z-Moves

Z moves were really broken especially in ultra sun and ultra Moon when the rotom decks could give you more than one Z move in a battle

That actually bothers me. I ended up swapping my traded Japanese Kartana for an English one because of this. At least you can give a nickname to foreign Pokémon without one though.
