Love Matt. I can remember being in woodshop with Matt and Buzz at Montesano building guitars. They ordered the necks and guts and built the bodies. Buzz built a Les Paul body and Matt built an Explorer. Would talk to Matt on the sidelines during football games bout AC/DC and being in the attic with them. Glad to see this interview

My favorite "grunge band" has always been Mudhoney, most fell by the wayside. My second show with the Lazy Cowgirls was opening for them at the Palace in Hollywood. In '95 we did 25 shows with the Cosmic Psychos.

Saw Mudhoney a few times back in the day, and even hoisted a cold one w/Lukin at Blind Pig in Ann Arbor Mi. Good times/great tunes!

Matt was at a Christmas party in '90 or '91, at my then girlfriends house (now spouse) and he tried to shove their tree out the window. Didn't quite succeed.

1. That NYE Alice Cooper show was at the Coliseum, I was there. Missed Faster Pussycat too, would have been incredible if Motorhead wasn’t stuck in Canada

Lukin the Sea Captain
The London show was at the Astoria in London Dec 3 1989. Dropped my sister off to see it with her friends, I was just a bit too young I think. Was an amazing gig by all accounts.
...I am watch Mudhoney at 2015, in my own town, Belgrade city...after the show, me and my few fellas and guys from Mudhoney, well, we get it drunk as hell!!! Of course, that*s i*m was waiting Mudhoney show from my 15, Well in 2015 i*v had 40 years, and i was really down, *cuz i did not watch the biggest MUD for me, Mr.Lukin, what a fella! I think that with him is the WEIRDEST FUN!

It boggles my mind that that dude can drink beer all the time especially at his age. I'm almost 40 and I stopped drinking 3 years ago because 1) beer made me fat and 2) I felt like shit drinking. The same day I stopped drinking I started going to the gym and working out and I quickly got in shape and started eating healthy. But once you make that sort of physical shift you can't go back. The old way is just gross. Beer is gross. Even for me to look at a can of beer or see him drink, nothing against Lukin, but it grosses me out. I don't know how he does it. If I were still doing that, I don't know if I'd still be alive.

It’s funny cuz I was thinking the same . I’m 39 and I know I’ll definitely gain about 40 more pounds and I can’t deal with the hangovers like I used to . Especially when I gotta up get early for work . I don’t get grossed out like you seeing beer, I think of some good times but more so think of the shitty times , especially towards the end of my run. Every time I see lukin (past and present ), booze is involved lol
