I downloaded the Hellboy mixtape when it came out but never really dove deep into all his music until he died unfortunately. I didn't realize how many mixtapes, collabs, and songs he dropped in the short time he had but a lot of it is really worth checking out. I've been listening to all of his stuff now and really loving it but it's also sad that it took his death for me to really get into it. I really hope we get to hear all the other collab projects with Clams Casino, Makonnen, Lil B, and the other people he worked with someday. I also really want to hear the studio versions for the songs from Goth Angel Sinner. I've gotten hooked on the live version of the song Belgium and it would be great to hear it on a professional studio recording. RIP Peep.

@Xavier Kobayashi Spotify recommended him to me sometime in 2018 and i was curious because i recognized the band he sampled, so i googled him. i remember it was a very openly depressing song and he sounded fucked up and was talking about drugs. then i found out how he died and it was such an eerie feeling, like i had seen a ghost, because the foreshadowing was there plain as day for anyone to hear and it had actually happened. to this day, i don't care for his music (incidentally, except star shopping) or understand what makes him a legend. the genre fusion was different than i expected from his name (i was expecting another completely generic lil soundcloud rapper), but not mindblowing. but one thing is for certain, it was very raw and genuine and vulnerable (but those aspects are not new in any of the genres he blended). dude had a magnetic personality, though. i've been watching tons of documentaries and live shows to try to understand why he had such a massive effect on people. i guess you either get it or you don't. it's really too bad he died so young, though. i wonder what his music would have been like had he gotten a chance to grow more as an artist and as a person. the saddest thing is that no one seemed to take his addictions and mental health issues seriously when it was very obvious to me in one song!

I haven’t been to many live concerts, but I saw Lil Peep in Vancouver, and it was such a good performance. He lit up that budget bar stage like nobody else can, seriously!
This documentary will really help bring peace about peep. I’ve seen a lot of negativity and fighting about him either being trash and fans defending him, when it should be a time of mourning and loss and respect. I never idolized him do not get me wrong, I did not look up to him, but he was more of a friend. I felt like he was there for me and understood me when no one else does and people need to see that and who he was as a person. He may not have changed music forever in history, but he did for me.
