I just love this guy, someone who is so talented they can take influence from different genres to create a new sound. That takes something special, do you know how lonely it was growing up being the only one who genuinely enjoyed being a metal head, but was surrounded by over commercialized pop music, no one wanted to listen to what I listened to. But thanks to guys like Ghoste, were able to get a taste of the raw beauty and emotion that hardcore and metal has to offer, but he makes it palatable to the masses. Keep fucking crushing it dude, also your Opium EP pretty much saved me when my gf dumped me lol. I’ve got Acrylic on LOOP in my head 27 hours a day. Love this guy and everything he does. Truly a masterclass musician

There were philosophers like Marx, Feuerbach, and Nietzsche who criticized religion way before the 1940s. They're worth reading, too. They make someone like Crowley look like a pygmy in comparison.
You are correct that Crowley was not one of the first. However, by 1940 he was 7 years away from being dead. He died in 1947. He wrote the Book of the Law in 1904.

2016... the year rap went grunge. I remember when I was in high school they didn't even sell skinny jeans for guys so if you wanted them you would have to hit up some Thrift store just to find an old pair of girl jeans and the quality was always so shitty they'd rip after a couple days. (sigh) Now it seems normal for black kids to have septum rings and gauges. Crazy how times change. Must have been all of the tony hawk that went to their heads.
I see the trend myself. I grew up in the time before Twitter and Instagram. In the Myspace era with big bands promoting their image on there. Hot topic was booming. Emo in the early 00s was on the rise and sunny day real estate, Hawthorne heights, and the brand new was played every day on my generic mp3 player where I ripped lime wire songs lol. I myself was always a metal head, I guess I would have looked more punk or gothic growing up. I played sports too but was always pretty counter culture and a huge edgelord. It's cool seeing rap branch out, Its annoying hearing repeated lyrics over a basic beat with a hook. I dont want to hear the happy party music, I want the dirty, evil, dark shit.

As someone who has been in metal bands since 15 what he saying is so true I find it so much easier to do music on my own then when I do it in my metal band it’s hard when some people don’t show up to practice and trying to get everyone on the same page and write when you do it yourself you have a clear vision and can do what you want without having to rely on someone else
your interviews are so dope, you keep it interesting and funny throughout. literally lit as fuck. You get such dope underground rappers to interview as well. No jumper and its guests are undoubtedly fiiiiiiire.
