Thanks for the video. Threading instructions from the manual didn't do it for me. Looks to me like you turned the direction lever due left for the thread pickup and then pointed the lever toward the operator to pull the thread off the needle. End of Day one and my machine is stitching and turning!
jerry lee, thanks, I turned the motor switch to the other direction and that was the problem, but now, I was trying to use a tex 69 thread and it is bunching up on the needle, so I think I need to use a smaller thread, also, do you just simply unscrew the needle bar holder and remove that? how do you know how far it goes down before you screw it tight, does it automatically stop? I haven't even tried that, as I haven't been able to get it to pick up stitches.. thank you lisa
Awesome video! I have been working on my 114w103 for the last few weeks but noticed that when I try and fill (like you do in this video) the machine gets stuck and it takes forever to untangle the needle. Sometime it will sew right over previous stitches and other times it gets hung up after just a few. Do you know why it would do that?
jerry lee my machine picks up the stitch now but I have a hard time getting it to do that, I wondered if you can show how it actually picks up a stitch to start sewing...
jerry lee I just sent you a request to do a video like this, can you tell me does the wheel turn away from you or toward you when you stitch.. mine is coming toward me.. so I think that is my problem right?

jerry lee also, are you doing a moss stitch or a chain stitch can you demonstrate how to switch the machine to a moss stitch also.
