Rime of The Ancient Marriner - live flight 666 - I watch you here from Brazil, I'm a big fan of Iron Maiden, I bet you'll love this song that I ask you to watch.
There are better live versions of this song on CZcams. But love the reaction. I saw them in Vegas last year for the Legacy of the Beast tour and they are in my opinion more energetic today then they were when I first saw them in the early 80's. Don't wait for them to come to your city to see them. Travel if you need to. They are totally worth it.
Bruce is amazing. This is him after his recovery from cancer. Definitely go see Maiden live, it is an amazing experience. I think seen them 10 or 11 times by now.
I have seen them 11 times, with two back-to-back shows in Tacoma and Portland this last September. I will see them again the moment they come anywhere near my area. Iron Maiden always puts on an amazing show!
I saw them twice on this tour and 13 times overall in my lifetime.First time was when I was 15 in 85 and the last time was with my son who was 15 in 2017.Greatest band of all time! Up the Irons!
darrell wood my 7 year old son said “Dad can I go,” when I went in August last year to Nashville. I didn’t take him on a school night but you can bet your ass he’ll be with me on the front row next time they’re in Nashville. School night or not.
I am from Greece and we had specifically arranged vacations in Bali so that we see Maiden perform. That is how good they are. See them while they are still performing, you will not regret it.
Big boss Harris on that bass and three lead guitars, always a winning combination. Do not miss them live, if you have the chance. They are still going strong (seeing them in July). Consider Nicko is 67, he is the oldest one in the band. Still, you have to see and hear him hit the drums in the latest performances of Where Eagles Dare. Nice air-guitar lol
Always eager to see your Iron Maiden reactions! Please keep them coming! Hope you do one day Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, or if you’re doing another live from they later stuff you should definitely check The Talisman (Live in Chile), awesome vocal performance there.
You guys are spot on. For a bunch of 60 somethings they have so much energy and joy playing live. I’ve seen so many bands live, and Maiden is just the best. They are so professional and always give 110% if they are playing for 1000 people or 250,000 people. They have so much fun and you can see the joy they have for each other and the crowd. Just a very genuine group. See them on the next US tour because they are getting up in age and there can’t be many left.
I saw this tour "Book of Souls " in April 2016 it was phenomenal!! I also recently saw them on The Legacy of the Beast tour Sept 2019 ... also an awesome show . All in all I have seen Iron Maiden several times since the 80's & have never been disappointed..... they give their all every show ... you have to see them...They're going to be in Australia in May & then will be in Europe & Russia in June & July they were here in North America last summer & Fall. Check out the show opener "If Eternity should fail " from this Book of Souls tour
BTW, "The Red and The Black" is also one of the flavors of their "Trooper" Beer line. It's a Belgium Red Beer and in my opinion, their best. Try some, if you can find it. If not, they had it at their concerts. Great show, great experience getting to hang out with other Maiden fans drinking a pint before the show.

I know that sometimes its hard to comprehend fast sung lyrics on live recordings. The guitar work is awesome on this tune. Welcome to the Maiden Family! I love her assessment on her discovery of Steves bad ass bass!
The larger strings on the Bass provide the low "rumbly" sound from the instrument. The rythmic aspect is provided by how Steve attacks the strings and what patterns he chooses to play. And yes, he has massive calluses on his fingers. That's normal for all string players..

Great song. I love playing my bass guitar and this song is very challenging for anyone but once you get into the groove it kinda feels like the guitar is playing you. It's hard to explain. Maybe somebody else could say more...
I went to the Brooklyn show of the LOTB tour. Seen them 13 times since 1999 and this was definitely in the top 3. A bunch of 60 somethings and still more energy than almost anyone in the crowd. What is so great besides the awesome music and show, is the genuine fun and joy they have on stage with each other and the crowd. That is so rare in music and touring for so many years.
I just wanted to add, that Bruce was performing there post throat cancer threatment, so his voice was not 100-precent there. Now at Legazy of the Beast tour he sounded much better :) Still loved it tho.
I've seen maiden 3 times I can tell you it's not enough they put sweat n blood in their performance even today from metallica to anyone doesn't have half the energy this band has and they give a stage show that's beyond anybody
First maiden show was powerslave and see them every chance I get top gear preformers and Eddie used to to off the hook back in the 80 early 90 no I just think they got like a big Eddy that walks out on stage once in awhile
Another great reaction!! Would love to see your reaction to "Revelations" from Piece of Mind album. I just joined Patreon but cannot find you two and would love to subscribe there and see your videos! ☮️ from Nebraska!
You should check out the book of souls and if eternity should fail from this same show. Their new stuff is underrated. Also check out the official version of this song, sounds way better.
Why isn't anyone reacting the the Iron Maiden LP? If you don't know Prowler, Sanctuary, Charlot the Harlot, Iron Maiden (the song), you don't know this band.
Nah, that song came late in the set. He kicked cancer's ass and was 100% before they went on tour. The guy is 61 years old and still runs around the stage like a madman. He does get winded and the tour takes its toll on a voice, no matter what shape a singer is in. Live performances are never studio perfect, but Bruce still sounds better than 90% of touring singers.
it’s worth getting through the 4 or so mins of trash just to hear the epic solo I guess I’m a huge maiden fan infact a top 0.1% listener but final frontier and book of souls do almost nothing for me
Damn. I apologise guys. Looks like the audio was off. FUCK!!!!

The lyrics 🤘
The morals of life and the perils of death
Take the wrong way out running out of breath
Meet my match in the afterlife
Suppress the demons that plague the night
A tortured mind is a safe place to go
But the truth lurks down in the dark below
Step inside my inquisitive mind
Are you scared at what you just might find
See myself in the hall of mirrors
A different shape every step I take
A different mind every step of the line
But in the end they are all mine
Laughing sorrow inside your head
Can't get out just a feeling of dread
I know this burden's a heavy load
A dark mistake never ending road
The black jack king and the red queen clash
The artful dodger he counts his stash
The joker's wild like an impish child
While madame fortune she waits inside
The good luck charm is overkill
The tired old soldier says fire at will
Planes overhead go search destroy
The ones below human decoy
I need somebody to save me
Meanwhile we play the waiting game
The clock is struck the horse is lame
And when we think that this is done
Chance your luck a four leafed one
You hedge your bets the battle lost
To wait in vain and count the cost
The thin edged line
Between good and bad
And cast the luck be happy sad
I need somebody to save me
The red and the black
People don't want the truth
Look in their eyes and you send them away
The red and the black
Fate and hypocrisy
Burden's a heavy load there is no doubt
The red and the black
All out of luck again
How many chances can anyone have
The red and the black
Treachery out to win
There in the wrong place and at the wrong time
I need somebody to save me
Great reaction man. You should react to paschendale. It is another great song by Iron Maiden.
Great air guitar skills and doing it left handed like me good job tasha👏🔥💯👍🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
