The Road itself is the highest elevated highway in Wyoming (10,947 feet) and Montana (10,350 feet) and is the highest elevated highway in the Northern Rockies. This video is contributed by a dear friend, Kip, who is an adventurous musician when he was on a solo trip crossing Montana on a motorcycle this summer.

what time of year was this? GNP and the Beartoot were the main destination this year for our annual motorbike trip (2 from St. Louis, one from Green Bay). we were there early September and it seemed much more smoke hazy than this footage. I would do that ride again in a heartbeat- trips thru the Rockies have been my favorites for all the years we've been doing long distance trips. also, it looks like you must be using some sort of gimbal mounted camera? my GoPro footage is never this smooth and stable.

My husband and I got a chance to ride through Montana on the back of a motorcycle. It was the most beautiful place we have ever been. We never drove a motorcycle before, but we have never seen it like this. We only got a couple miles in the car, but it felt like we had all day.
