What makes anybody think that having poisons in food is an okay thing, this is such a messed up country
Money and lobbyists. And remember, if Trump is elected he wants MORE DEREGULATION, including abolishing the USDA entirely
Prepackaged foods are tremendous waste of money, and it’s an outrage that the school districts are spending taxpayer money this way.
Of course they're going to fight for what they're making but it's poison dammit no wonder kids are having problems
Take care of the kids foods first, then get it All Out of ALL OUR FOOD!!

Lunchables is a joke of a product to buy esp when you can make like 20 "Lunchables" by buying Ritz crackers, sliced cheese, and some turkey slices cheaper.
Trust me, I'd rather eat a lunchable than what my school had to offer from 4th grade to 9th grade.
Would you rather eat rotten apples, spoiled milk, bad meat, and frozen veggies, over a simple lunchables tray?
For a while, the school served pre packaged foods, including extremely dry burgers being microwaved and served to children.
Hundreds of billions for unnecessary wars. Can you imagine US schools serving real healthy food to kids everyday for free? Yeah, it's possible! Countries around the World do it!! Japan, China, India, Korea, some places in Europe....only Canada and the US doesn't have free GOOD food for children at school.
I'm Asian background, I grew up in Canada and went through the school system. My mom packed my lunch most days, and it consisted of home cooked veggies, rice, and protein. I was always kinda embarrassed to have that lunch seeing my other white as well as black classmates eat processed "meat"/ham cheese sandwiches, and yes these luncheon packs too, juice boxes, pop, chips, candies, etc.. Now I know my LUNCH was WAY healthier than theirs.

I like how they say they have a good source of protein and that they're reducing the amount of sodium in their crackers. Bro, what about the literal LEAD and CADMIUM in your product? And chemicals that are hormone disruptors in what is mostly consumed by children? What the hell is up with that?
Teach children math skills, reading, writing, other skills that help them in real world.

She made it healthier so there was a standard for kids who dont eat at home. Sorry your obesity palette can't be served in schools anymore.
