The combination of all of these elements makes Rami "The Perfect Actor" everywhere, every time. I think that even the greatest film directors in the whole history of cinema would have liked to work with him. The problem is that Rami should be put in a time machine. Anyway. He deserves all of it. The other people on stage are extraordinary men. Everybody knows that. They have experience of art, life. Rami is only 37 and nowadays, in this complex and kaleidoscopic world, being 37 means to be sort of a "newborn"! Well done!

Critics love biopics that show all the bad things that happened in someone's life, they want the shit, the drama, the controversial. This movie was more than that and that's why they didn't like it.

Bill Belzek I'm sorry what? lol. I should be ok with the movie because the band approves? The band green lit and let so many film inaccuracies pass all for an emotional tug that we could have gotten with a factual story. You know the one thing I can't stand that they let slide, the fact that they made Freddie seem like an asshole for doing a solo career when TWO of those fuckers had already done solo albums.

For those wondering why Mike Myers is in the movie, I'm guessing it's because of Wayne's World. In an interview with Stephen Colbert, Mike said he had insisted they sing Bohemian Rhapsody instead of the Guns n Roses song Lorne Michaels wanted. Brian said in an interview he showed the scene to a very ill Freddie, who loved it. Per an LA Times article: 'Queen Classic Is Re-crowned, Thanks to 'Wayne's World', April 04, 1992', the movie was responsible for giving the song a second life. The song charted #9 in 1975 and charted again at #10 in 1992.

Very well done indeed. Perfect casting and the movie itself is really perfect telling the story of Queen specially Freddie Mercury. Rami Malek is spectacular. He made me laugh and made me cried so much also watching it and at the end missing the whole band specially Freddie Mercury as I’ve seen him in him. Forever grateful with this movie.

Mike Skinner Historical inaccuracies and the way Freddie's sexuality was portrayed. But it isn't a documentary, it's a movie.

Miami Beach's comments are spot on...in a way though, it's almost right that much of the press has reviewed the film too critically, because Queen's music was often hyper-criticized and the band never cared. Everyone handled this presser gracefully, and Rami seems to be as soulful and beautifully unique as Freddie, in his own way. I'm not a huge fan of the series "Mr. Robot" (I've only watched the first season) but there is something uniquely offbeat about Rami's screen presence in it that suggest a kinship with misfits. He and Freddie Mercury are the perfect odd couple.
