Worth getting up early for! I think my favorite was the wings forward at 13:02. Beautiful shots!
Thank you so much! Definitely worth it.
And yeah that was a great shot 😊
Could hear the swan taking off as you get excited 😆
Haha! Yeah noticed that myself later on, glad it picked up the sound 😁
Really enjoyed this, thanks for your time and effort
And thank you for watching 😊
Some great shots in this one man, I felt bad for the little guy getting pushed away too. Are you using a 9 point cluster or a single af point? Really enjoyed this one. Keep it up!
Thank you, haha yeah poor thing.
I used a single point as well as Eye-af
Seemed to work best for me in that type of action.
Yes I am😂. I am very upset that I still dont have a photo
Haha well we will make it happen 😊❤️
how heavy is that sigma 500mmlens and how does it perform on the canon r6 and would recommend the lens im into wildlife ive got a z7 but due to not many options for wildlife im getting a canon r6 but lens not sure as was looking at the canon ef 100-400 with the 1.4x tc and also the 300mm prime f4 lens with either the 1.4x or 2x tc wats your opinion on th lens
It’s a great lens and pairs well with the R6, it can be a little heavy.. but hard to say how heavy as I managed to hand hold it quite often.
It had a tendency to stop focusing at times, but I had to find the correct settings for its use to make it work at its best.
The 100-400 is a pretty good option and might be the best combo to have.
But I will say I’d definitely get the sigma again.
@@CJamesPhoto okedoke no worries at all as say im looking at the r6 have had it ordered as well with the adpater 1.4x tc and 100-400 but i also like the look of the 300mm f4 lens as well and thats interesting to hear to i had a sigma 150-600 contemporary lens for my nikon but due to weight i sold it as say im registered severely sight impaired/blind so need something with a bright screen and able to see txt too but then need lens kind of light but has the reach as i recently got sony a9 with 200-600 but recentky returned it as due to wight of lens but also screen not bright enough either if cant get canon to work going to look at fuji or new olympus camera
Can you suggest me a best camera for nature photography?
Most cameras work work well for nature, it will depend on your budget and also what your main subject will be.
Great video! I noticed on your web page that some prints are fairly large, how does the R6 hold up for printing? I see so much debate online about its megapixel size. I'm debating upgrading from my R to a R6 for wildlife!
The R6 has more then enough megapixels to make large prints, so I wouldn’t really see that as a concern.
But going from the R to R6 for wildlife is a great option 😊
@@CJamesPhoto Awesome thanks for the info! How well do the sigmas perform on them? Ive got a Sigma 150-600 C thats been pretty good on the R
Well I was using a sigma 500mm f4, and a few others. Worked really nicely actually. Pretty enjoyable
@@CJamesPhoto I noticed that! Looks like a great lens. Have you tried either of the sigma teleconverters with it? Curious how it would perform adapted to Rf and using the tele
Oh it is, and yeah I tested the 1.4x tc. But I didn’t really like the results that much, but that’s not to say it won’t give good photos. It was just a little too sluggish for my liking.
