I didn’t even know there was a baby Denman, but I want one. Thanks Christina!
it's so handy! I prefer it xx
The Denman D143 is also small but has a longer handle than the D14
Thank you! I have long wavy hair and didn't want to have to remove rows from the brush. I didn't know the D143 existed.
Very helpful, i have almost rignlets on my bangs and near my ears. Fingers crossed this helps my waves! Going to try the 5 since my hair gets tangled easily but is fine.
While your using for curls, many moons ago 40yrs ago originally Denman was used to straighten hair & dry Bob of any description perfectly curled under. Many round brushes were all bristle then whereas now they have metal barrel combined making them much better. Denman was always owned by every hairdresser & good to see it still being used albeit little differently.
yes you're so right! It was the Vidal Sassoon blowdry brush originally. Though I had teh worst blowdry there as this brush is no match for my hair - I need a round brush! I felt sorry for the hairstylist there as he couldn't use any other brush besides the Denman. But for curls - I love using it this way xx
Hello, I have thin, mostly straight hair. Which brush is best for me? Where do I lose the least hair?
Should I get D14 if I want to loosen my curls?? In some posts I see D41 is better but some says I should use smaller one.. I'm type 2BC, long and thick hair fyi.
so, l Denman brush is not a good idea to use on dry hair?
Can you link your in depth brush styling video please?
yes of course - sorry! You know I thought this video - czcams.com/video/PVsJNJGkBrM/video.html at 8.30talks about using the Denman one way and in this video - czcams.com/video/LHm0RZ6LNPA/video.html at 5.30 I demonstrate the Denman as well. I though i had created a more detailed tutorial but I haven't! It's next on the list xx
@@Hairromance Thank you!💖
How do we know if we would benefit from removing a row or more?
Good question! I think some people prefer to have fewer rows to reduce the pull on their hair but I like the 7 rows myself. Changing the bristle rows isn't permanent so you can take a couple out and see if you prefer it. You can put the rows back in if you change your mind 💛
I have very fine though, Long fine curly hair.
I think the Denman Classic D3 (7 row brush) would be perfect for you - the longer handle really helps with long hair 💛
your haircut is gorgeous and really suits you! can i ask, if you got your haircut at a salon, which haircut did you ask for to achieve this look please?! 🫶
