Good on you David. Great to hear you & Luxon/Willis have the ability to cooperate and work together. We can reform our island paradise with a bit of consistent smart/dilligent work.
Our consumer based not manufacturing economy is why we dont have good financial literacy.
Doing it honestly will be the medicine we need. I feel for tenants and landlords alike in this situation.

Great interview, thanks James and David. The All In Podcast has recently done something similar with US presidential candidates and it is exceptionally refreshing to hear the views from our political leaders when they are not being antagonised and interrupted by modern mainstream media.
Although I don''t agree with everything David has shared on this interview, many if not most of ACT’s policies make a tonne of sense and regardless I appreciate the transparency over opacity.
It would be great and beneficial to New Zealanders leading up to the election to see/hear similar content from other current or previous high profile politicians i.e Swarbrick, Robertson, Peters, Key, English.
Again thanks James, Michael, Matt and the team for taking the time in continuing to build this great and maturing podcast!

Excellent interview. You have some great ideas. New Zealand needs 100,000 plus Tall Poppies. Gut the bureauracy . Throw away the nanny state. Create an environment for all people to become wealthy. From an ex Kiwi who went to Asia with his millions $ to live the great life surounded by self reliant , resilient people who are making the most of their lives and not expecting their government to do much.

If people have high debt and the cost interest high. This is the problem with debt based economy and banking deregulation in 1984/85. They created some house inflation.

Habour crossing! Only people on the North Shore need it. National abolished the bridge toll . If it had not done this, a large fund would be there.
Also, long-term leadership in 1950 would have seen a rail line built from Orewa to Takapuna, then onto Glenfield, Northcote ,Birkdale into tunnel to New Lynn.
