Jo, Matilda's attentiveness to your Mum's welfare reminds me of our Bull Terrier, Zeus. When our son was learning to crawl Zeus would gently push in front of him and sit across the bottom stair in that side sitting "Bully" way so the baby could not get past him...Love a Bull breed. Ben Fogle is such a smashing fella!

Congratulations! Wonderful secret restaurant and how wonderful Ben giving your mother a shout out! My mum is same age as your mother but sadly not doing as well as yours is - she is still we us but lost her sight which I feel has aged her. I love seeing you and your mum together ❤️

Raking leaves reminds me of growing up with a large garden and having tons to take. Use two boards to pick up the piles of rakes leaves. And I can hear my father shouting to not leave the rake on the ground like that! You could step on it and hurt your foot, or the pole will ping up and hit you. Prop it upright, prongs facing in, against a tree. Haha. I love listening to you and your mum's conversations. About bra fittings. I was in Hoopers in Tunbridge Wells, with my coat on, taking some bras into the changing rooms but as I walked in with them the assistant stopped me and said "Oh no dear - your not a 32A, you're a 34B". She was dead right - and she could tell despite my chunky winter cost.
I have a crush on Ben Fogle too. Stalked him at Gatwick airport once (well I tried to but my partner headed me off) :-)))

She had the same infatuation for Ben Fogle and used to phone me and tell me everything that he’d said on Animal Park, she never missed an episode. She would have loved your vlog esp the bits in your car with Matilda’s and your mum, those are my favourites and the bits at your mums home. Weirdly I just love the minutiae of people’s lives, I could watch videos of people doing nothing all day. Not that you’re doing nothing but you prob know what I mean. 10,000...congratulations! X

Shirley I totally get what you mean...I DO watch videos of people doing nothing or very little..its why I loved Brideshead Revisited...it was SO slow...they would never make a series with so slow a pace now x
