Working The Homestead Garden & Moose Fence | ALL OF JUNE 2024

- Join us for the entire month of June in the homestead garden! We are working hard to get a garden established and hopefully grow some of our own food by the end of it all.
In the long run, this garden needs to be feeding us. While the cabin is our number one priority right now, we fit in garden work where we can because we know the work will show in the years to come!
We are learning as we go, so as always this is not a how-to video in any way. Some of our ideas are working great and some are not working great. We are all about showing you every bit of it though.
If this video is well received, I will get us another one going for the month of July! Stay tuned for all future adventures and as always THANK YOU FOR WATCHING.

Becca you are a dynamo, gardening, baby care and you find time to debark logs and you do it all willingly,no complaints. May God continue to bless you and your family.
Your garden is looking good. Next year it will be even better. If you eat bananas, put the peels in a bucket of water. Stir them & let set for a few days than add to garden. It's really good on when just starting seeds also.
Don’t worry about your raspberry cane plant. Take the top off and stick it in the ground. The broken plant will grow and spread no problem. Your head lettuce is doing fine. Don’t worry about it. Keep it watered and you’ll get lettuce. They’re a slower growing lettuce. Garden is looking great! Keep up the hard work.
Your mound would be a great strawberry patch. 👍
You two are doing a great job. I love watching your videos. ♥️♥️♥️
The garden is looking great! I really appreciate that you talk to the camera as you are doing things. It make me, as a viewer, feel like I'm hanging out with you as you garden. I really enjoy your videos! Henry is adorable!!
Love your intro music. You most assuredly need to lean on the everlasting arms. Lovely build. Prayers for those climbing 🙏🏻💕
Great job Becca, Your starting to get your garden arranged, you will figure out what does good where, and you can make changes next year!! any food out of your garden is good food!
If you have an extra branch or two on your raspberry bush you can cut it and put it water let it grow roots and plant.
If you want to learn about gardening a few you tube channels are simple living alaska and modern homestead alaska are very good channels to watch. I realize you are a young mom and have alot on you. You are doing good.😊
Your commitment to self-sustainability and nurturing the land reflects a deep connection to nature and a genuine love for homesteading. And I am a floating village life from Vietnam
❤ Beautiful! For the owner to show up to give you the key personally, leave the buildings clean & organized, the lawn newly cut means they loved their home but wanted to meet the person that would be its new caretaker.
Hi becca I really enjoyed this one your garden is coming on a treat don't worry your doing a great job and little Henry is trying to make himself heard with his little bits of chattering the way he smiles at the camera lovely and care becca ❤❤❤
Great job Becca (and Levi) love your mini hothouse so creative and useful!
My garden is producing so much all of a sudden. All the hard work has paid off. (Btw I got the card. TYVN. When I was in the hospital one of the kids just of placed it in a pile I did not see 🤦🏼♀️). Garden looks good girl. You’re doing great!
You are my favourite channel.
Burning logs preserves the logs and it keeps from bugs infesting logs and and prevent rotting the wood out.
Becca you should try to grow catmint it’s a natural mosquito repellant that you can just rub on your skin. Not toxic at all. Safe for animals and human of all sizes!!
For your first year gardening on your land you are doing good and learning a lot for next year. Good Job 👍
I miss gardening so much. We moved to AZ and I can’t even grow cacti. ☹️. Miss all those fresh veggies 🥕 ❤. I had a beautiful strawberry patch too. Once you get yours established, it’ll be great ❤
