Compared to other luxury German SUV's, the new Bentayga is $100k too much money. There just isnt that much impressive or even tangible difference. Cast aluminum wheels, plastic chrome trim, flat black plastic around the shifter, manual reclining rear seats, etc..??? Fabric sun shade instead of alcantara? Top Flagship German SUV models dont leave these luxury amenities out. This Bentley should not be any more than $140k. Its a VAG product to begin with and I see too much of VAG with the interior parts. At this price point we can/should be critical so why is the drivers leather seats already showing wear with leather creases on the bottom bolster? Too many reviews will never point these issues out because they want to review the next RR or Bentley.

I don't entirely disagree. However, I would point out the technical fabric used on the moonroof is not a low cost alternative. Besides, why do so many people think Alcantara is a luxury fabric? - it's entirely synthetic (polyester and polyurethane).
