My mom died almost 3 years ago from a seizure caused from brain cancer. But she was a champion till the day that horrible disease took my favorite person from us. But she is living her best life watching over me, my dad, sister and brothers and we are making her proud every day even if it is just getting out of bed that day. Stay strong y'all. *I sung this in choir in 6th grade with my best friend. In the end of 7th grade, our school shut down due to covid and her last words to me were "Stay safe and healthy, I'll see you again in 2 weeks!" (I didn't have a phone so I never got the chance to get her phone number. I'm 14 now, and my parents still won't let me have a phone) Our school was shut down the rest of the year. Earlier in 7th grade she said she might be going back to the Philippines, so I think she's there. I'm in 8th grade now I have 1 more day of school and I surprisingly made it this entire school year without having someone to sit by at lunch or to talk to in any classes. I did have one other friend but she moved to another city in my state at the beginning of 7th grade. We still text each other everyday but we haven't seen each other in person for almost 3 years. Now everytime I hear this song, all the memories of me and my best friend in choir come back. August 1, 2021 diagnosed with covid again. And now on this day, August 21, 2022, 849 days strong, currently in Remission. Not really cancer free yet ,though. This girl is a real CHAMPION! 💪❤️

I was in a really bad depression state until a few years ago I started riding dirtbikes and making new friends to ride with and I realized they all had depression and when we rode together we always listened to this song before and after we rode until day after day we all started to defeat our depression my goal was when I had depression it was to "Not let depression defeat me but to defeat depression" And now I finally passed that goal on to the next one
