  • Margaret Gatti-Mays, MD, MPH, a breast cancer oncologist at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC - James), explains a clinical trial she's leading that involves a cellular therapy
called natural killer cells. These natural killer cells are from healthy patients, and have been modified in the lab to be resistant against a specific chemical that's put out by a breast cancer
cell. The goal of this type of treatment is to get those immune cells to the tumor to effectively kill the tumor.
