Hopefully now they can all work together to help izuku, and hopefully get him back to where he was before this unfortunate incident happened. I think hito is going to be feel guilty for the rest of his life for this, Even though it wasn't his fault.

I have a feeling that it’s for the same reason he won’t let them go. He thinks if they find out they will all forget him again. Either that or he doesn’t want to make things worse for them or relive it.
