The Turkish team has a lot of players mostly playing in the BSL (yan po tawag sa liga nila, Basketbol Super Ligi) mostly from Fenerbache and Anadolu Efes kaya lang minalas lang sila nung WC qualifiers. Turkey has great team parin although their in a transition phase since wala na si Ilyasova and other key NT mainstays but there is Osman and Korkmaz (I doubt they'll join their NT lalo na si Cedi but Korkmaz is a Free Agent so maybe gusto nya mag take part. but we'll see) but they have good new breed of talent, they are coached by Ergin Ataman, who is this Euroleague season's Coach Of The Year, They are a tough nut to crack pero kakayanin yan as long as they trust the system. Poland, mahirap din kalaban yan cuz for me, they're similar to Turkey (feel ko halos lahat ng team sa Europe, iisa ang identity haha) but mas matangkad, may built din so sana kayanin talaga ng Gilas mga yan, If we win, that's a big confidence boost, if we lose, sana very respectable. Yun lang, Goodluck sa Gilas, hopefully marami silang mapulot na learnings po dyan win or lose.

Sa totoo lang kahit fenerbache lang makalaban ng Gilas. Feeling ko dehado na tayo doon eh lol grabe 3 points shooting nung team na yun.

Lots of questions need to be answered for our NT. But my main concern is JMF. Ik he shot some 3s on a low volume sa PBA. Do you think he can use that if at all sa mga upcoming international games?

I hope we have team b para ready for transitioning phase kasi matatanda na ung iba, tapos kasama sila sa mga practices and sali sila sa mga ibang basketball competition na di nasasalihan ng team A using coach tim system para kung mainjure man ung iba sa team A madali na kasi alam na ung system and may chemistry na kasama ung team A. Then and add na lng palagi ung mga uaap or ncaa stand out agad sa practice session dito sa pinas kung available sila para habang maaga may commitment na sa national team and will answer the call for national team.
I'm sure that's the plan. pero step by step muna. Build a strong foundation for team A muna
Baka next year yan na ang gawin nila.. maganda din sana continuity,mga U18 na magagaling pwede i draft sa team B. Then ganun din ang team B. I draft sa main national team. Pwede. Din humakbang ang U18 basta magaling papuntang senior team
Poland and Turkey have some NBA players if they decide to play this summer, pero duda ako nag mag lalaro sila sa Turkey nanjan si Korkmaz at Osman, tall guards can shoot, slash and pass. Sa Poland jan si Jeremy Sochan. All around wing, great defender and a 3 dimensional scorer. Obviously tunnel vision when he have basically have a 7'5 big running like a gazelle and wide-open and still manage to miss him! yun lang. sana maka laro maski isa sa na bangit ko. It would be fun

Have we ever beaten a non Asian team? Because the last win I can remember is against Senegal back in 2014. And I dont recall a time we've beaten a European team. I'm sure we have but it's too long ago to remember.
Yes, we only beat Senegal and that's it! We can't beat even the New Zealand team. Talo pa tayo ng Korea, Japan, China at Lebanon. Tinatalo na nila yan simula nung nagmerge ang asia at oceana. Samantalang tayo wala kahit isang panalo sa kanila. Pero baka manalo sa November dahil si coach Tim na ang nagmamando.
Kung manalo man tayo sa 2 yan di dapat i count un scrimmage is not real game. Japan nga tinalo france pero walang bilang ung dahil practice game.

- Perez. I really think that CJ has to work on his shooting and decision making. A guy with CJ's explosiveness can be a factor in beating a European team. In a perfect situation, Romeo could've been better to be part of the team.
- Oftana. If we can't get guys like Wright ang Heading, Oftana should be on his A-game as consistently as possible in FIBA games. If he can improve his shooting to over 50%, the better. Latvia will be killing Gilas with their shooting, so he better perform.
- SF position. If not for Brownlee, this is our weakest spot. Malonzo won't play, Aguilar will definitely play PF. Tamayo should be polishing his game as a 3.
Si Malonzo lang yung legit 3 natin na kayang makipgsabayan sa european teams na injured pa
Agree that our 3 spot is the position that needs an upgrade AS OF THE MOMENT. Although, I believe KQ and Carl can develop into being a wing in the international game.
@@NicoRocha Carl needs "more" maturity in the 3 position while KQ... KQ is undersize against Europeans. And with his skills and height, I'd like him more to transition to a combo guard.

Kasi yun yung magiging panukat nila sa paparating na tournament. Hindi lang basta basta tuneup yan. Malaking parte yan ng proseso sa paghahanda sa mismong tournament.

Maraming bigman ayaw lang pagkukunin katulad nina Baltazar, Chiu, Go, laput ng Magnolia 6'10 kahit sa depensa na lang ilagay un dahil malaki ang katawan ay makakasabay din sa, mga European players break at chances lang need nila

Sino tatanggalin mo sa mga to AJ, Kai, Junmar and Carl? Hindi naman puro bigman nasa team lalot yung mga bigmen na nabanggit mo eh hindi din naeexpose sa international games.. I'd rather stick kung anu yung pinili ni coach Tim. He knows better than someone na nagaassume lang who will be effective.. Suportahan mo nalang kung ano ung roster
