- Many of you have asked more about how we met as widow and widower, what life is like raising 11 boys, and all the things! Today, while out watching the boys swim, we take a few moments to tell our stories.

My hubby died 5 years ago. I pray that God would do His will in my life. He told me to remarry two weeks before his passing. I will if God bring the right Godly man. I'm so glad for you guys.

I'd love to know the kids' ages. I've got a feeling they all recognize the blessing of being part of a big blended family, especially after losing a parent. Ironically, my great-grandparents were a widow (with eight kids) and a widower (with ten kids) who married and blended their families. Together they had one more child. Number 19 was a girl, and she was my grandmother. My dad was the youngest of 11, my mom number 7 of 8, and I'm the baby of 8. We're all blessed to have such large families.
I am a Christian and lost my husband suddenly after an emergency surgery in February of this year. We had two children, a boy and a girl, both grown and have families of their own. We have been blessed with 10 grand children and 5 great grand children and another due next month (July). Next month would have been 55 years for us. I would like to see what a day in the life of your family would be like. Did the boys give you any problems when you first started seeing each other? Today was the first time I found your channel. I have now subscribed and looking forward to more of your story. God Bless you and your family.
God took home my Ronald 3.5 years ago. We raised 3 boys & were married 53.5 years on Dec, 19, 2020. I am much older than you. I'm 77 &. Live a limited existence. Health wise Ron thought he would be the last to go but during COVID in rehab his organs shut down & he was gone.
God is still an awesome God I I don't know why I'm here because there is very little I can do each day.
Your story is encouraging so I will join watching your family grow. Praise God!

My husband and I raised seven boys and lost our baby girl. Large families are a wild ride and always busy but lots of love to go around.
Awesome story…loosing a spouse and especially through sickness is hard….but yes God is faithful! I was married for almost 56 years and he passed away in May of 2022.
You obviously have and will touch a lot of people on your journey of faith.
What I can say about food is maybe have a big batch food making party and put it in the freezer once a month for times when you are stuck for a hurry meal. I know how hard it is to always be on top of food. Over the years casseroles, canning, freezing, and a garden was always a blessing. Your testimony and family will be such a blessing to so many others also talking about your faith is so refreshing. I’m in Canada but have visited all those places and Silver Dollar City so know exactly where you are. I loved touring that area. Good memories!!❤🙏God Bless!

@@DoinitwithaDozen I'm the youngest of 6, I have one sister 1 year older and 4 brothers (sadly one passed away) and I can relate to this, my brothers were always so protective of me and sometimes a little too much
Oh my. Your story, even though it is somewhat different from mine, but so close to it. I am 75 now, but over 38 years at barely 37, lost my first husband after his illness of 81/2 years. We had 2 boys who were a sophomore and eighth grader. I thought I would not survive, but I knew I had to finish raising our boys. I really did not think I would marry again, but God had other plans. Four years later, I did marry again. I am so fortunate. I had 2 wonderful husbands. I had 18 years together with the first and almost 25 years together with my second. Sadly, I lost him over 9 years ago. Of course, this is the short version. I wish the very best in your lives together. Gloria from Northeast, Tennessee...

I fell in love with both of you in the first second of your video. It's such a wonderful testimony of the goodness of God! Your little girl on the way is more than lucky because she has at least 13 heroes to love and protect her. And at least a couple more in heaven. God bless your whole family!
I am much older than you but my husband died in his 50's from early-onset dementia. I was 54. My partner's wife died of breast cancer a year later and we met the following year. We have had a beautiful relationship for 9 years. It is not easy when you have had a life long marriage but there is beauty in a new relationship. There is hope for all of us!
Thank you for your amazing testimony. You have both gone through enormous suffering but the joy you both have in Him and each other shines!
Dealing with health issues and helping a spouse is hard and rewarding. Not cancer - but taking care of my disabled spouse (from a car accident) - I do appreciate that as with me - you never gave up during your spouses health issues ***hugs***
Oops, wasn't finished...they had 10 of us, we've all been grown forever, all the grandchildren(56 of them) are grown and married, and so i just wanted to say, wow what a future you have to look forward to. 😊😊😊

I lost my husband in Jan of 2023. I know it had to be hard for all of you. I thank God that you have found each other, and I know your lives will continue to be blessed. I hope someday I will find a significant orher to bless my life.....at the age of 73 it might not be so easy.....God bless you.....
I also lost my husband Jan/23. Life is so different. I’m 75 so our journeys are similar.
My mother and her new husband met about 5 years after losing their respective spouses. They married two months after meeting each other when they were 73 & 72. They are still very happy almost ten years later :) God knows exactly what you need and if that includes another husband, you can be assured He will place you in the right place at the right time. Psalm 37:4 in the Bible says, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart."

It's great the good Lord meant for you two to meet, and be a family.
It's difficult to feed a large family, and boys will eat you out of house, and home. I don't have 11, I have 2 boys, and 2 girls, plus a husband and food goes fast. My husband helps when he can. I've trained the kids to help prep food for meals, clean dishes, house, and taught them to do laundry. This way prep, and cooking meals is not all Mom. Now our kids are grown up, and live on their own with their families. I know, I'm rambling....my point, have your boys help with meal prep, chores inside, and out. This will help you both out, and the boys learn.

Those are good skills to learn. Not everyone learns them before they are on their own, or even MANY years later.

I lost my husband after 6 years of difficult caregiving and torment without the help of my family while teaching high school every day. I’m now realizing that there will never be another mate for me as I am very old, but God is showing me daily that what I need is Him, silence, solitude, His Word and His people. I’m in a very young (nobody older than 41) house church which loves me as if I were their momma. I live in Central Arkansas but spend one week a month in MO. I graduated from MSU in 87 in Springfield. You are in my neck of the woods. I’d love to meet you.
I just was diagnosed with breast cancer at 66 years old. I do believe God had His Hand in your meeting and your marriage. God is good, all the time! I look forward to more videos. Growing up my favorite movie was "Yours, Mine, and Ours". That's before your time. I will soon need videos to watch while I am in my Chemo treatment (June 10th is my first one and I am a little nervous). Please pray for me and I will definitely pray for y'all!

I love this story. So glad y'all had a second chance at happiness. I'm still on my grief journey. I lost my hubby last year to colon cancer as well after a for year battle. I say I'll never marry again but God does have a way of healing hearts❤
Amen… I am a widow, I missed my husband so much. He died of liver cancer. I am still grieving but God has been good to me. He’s my husband (Isaiah 55:4).

You should connect with Our Tribe of Many. They have 11 children and began homesteading about a year ago. They could definitely help with the meal planning, cooking and home schooling. Their 2 oldest have gone to Japan and Sri Lanka for 6 month to a year missons.

I’d like to know what made you get married so quickly. Hearing your story is such a blessing to me. And much encouragement. I am dating a single dad and I met him when I was going through a deep grief journey when my mom died suddenly. Your faith is inspiring to me as it has been hard to see gods goodness since she passed

I lost my husband 3 days before Christmas 2019 and I am now in my later sixties and have kind of given up on love finding me again. Unless I believe someone is Heaven sent I will remain alone. Anyway, I am very happy for all of you and looking forward to more of your videos!
