Clocked 150k km so far on a 2015 Jazz.
Still drives very smoothly. Recently I achieved 19.2 km/l for a KL-Penang trip, driven consistently around 110km/h. The transmission is brilliant. If driven correctly, one need not brake at all during the Jelapang stretch of the PLUS highway whilst maintaining reasonable speed. Only major parts I had to replace were both rear wheel bearings on 5th year of ownership.

We have both at home. My go to car will be the Jazz. It’s just more comfortable, ergonomic. More refined drive. Myvi is boring, get tired easily. And some how I feel safer in the Jazz than the Myvi despite its safety features.
Yes also driving the Myvi I feel super flustered and just wanna drive abit faster just to reach to my destination and get the heck out of it

@WapCar, purely on comfort and ride quality, which would you choose? I know you mentioned Jazzes seats were better, but how about the suspension itself? Another one, again based on comfort alone, how would you rank yaris, ativa, x50, almera, city against this two?
Been looking up on these two models reviews..TQ for making it.. definitely H for me...but always been die hard fan of its first model design look (2004-2006 models to be exact). But i have to say, interior wise, hands down for MyVi ( not on ergonomics though)

Many problems come out, it’s totally different experience when I just got the new car.

I brought my New Myvi instead of used Jazz during my decision because I did not worry about the W&T cost and also try something new, for example, safety features and new D-CVT from Produa. I didn't say Jazz bad, it does have a better driving experience but I don't want to spend those W&T costs for the next coming months. Been driving my New Myvi for 2 weeks plus it's amazing! There is no regrate from me to drive the new Myvi FL.
Could you one day make a comparison between Myvi 2022 and the new Honda City Hatchback please.. thank you
Nahhh, the price point between those two was way too far. It will be clear winner for Myvi in term of price.

Well just saw the new myvi at the perodua showroom yesterday, for me i still like the design of the 2018/2019 myvi, n i will still choose jazz than myvi cuz of the space, comfort and power, and that space i tell u what ah, that magic seat always gets me everytime, so useful when u want to carry big item, but sadly its been discontinued, huhu gudbye jazz

My Jazz is almost 5 years old and has clocked only around 50k km. I had an accident once where it ruptured the front part of the engine. Ever since then the fuel efficiency has decreased drastically. I usually clocked 13-15km per litre for TOWN DRIVING (u know KL morning/evening traffic jams), but after the accident, the highest i can get is only 11km/litre. It usually hovers around 8-9km/litre. Idk if the accident has got anything to do with it or not but its sad that its no longer fuel efficient
My 10yrs jazz ge shown 10.9 km per liter on tripmeter, what a fuel guzzler!
Previously with myvi in 5 years then change to jazz almost 6 years using it.. no regret.. jazz is the best.. no issue.. myvi after 4 years using it the sounds like o ek o ek..

lepas kejadian banjir yg byk tenggelamkan kereta2 di klang valley. better amek myvi baru je. interest rate kereta secondhand pun boleh tahan mahal. warranty lagi.wear n tear. kena stanby duit utk baiki incase nk amek kereta 2nd.

guys, Perodua car have a relatively short honey moon period , usually gone within a year
after that, the suspension no longer supple, the engine vibration getting stronger and much noisier than the original state
dont really deceived by the new car test result, you will be disappointed within a year or two while the other brand car still drive like new

That's good comparison....many things to consider and above all myvii is my car due to that's Jazz has no production in here..... because I have to trust the model after next 5 years

Just like Proton, Perodua no longer sell cars in the UK. The Myvi was previously sold but that was a long time ago. Shame because it was a nice looking car. Nice to see the new one
Mate, the reason why Proton & Perodua is not available in the UK is that they have watched Top Gear. I can never forget Clarkson's expression on the Perodua Myvi (MehVee), (drive with a sad face) AGREED to that! haha
@@leroyhendroff2268 The Proton Satria GTI was a nice piece of kit. There were a lot of rumours that Proton were going to offer the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo in rebadged form at one point but it never happened. Perodua were improving nicely before the end. After all they were Daihatsu in a different form. Could see both being on the same level as Suzuki or at least Dacia and MG if they came back to the UK

@@truthurts704 Myvi that was sold in the UK. It included indicators built into the mirrors for example which was unheard of in a budget supermini of that time. Even bigger manufacturers with more popular and expensive models were not doing that. The motoring press commented that the car was modern looking and a huge improvement on previous Perodua which were boxy and dated. The car was very much like the Daihatsu Sirion at the time. Which wasn't a bad thing. Check out the Parkers UK guide review. For an economy car it got a strong review

I have a Jazz and test drove myvi.
Honda for me. It's all about the driving experience and not being miserable in a Myvi

This pre facelift Jazz GK is my previous car, honestly just go to new produa myvi, is a new car, got auto cruise control (even pre facelift jazz didnt get MANUAL cruise control. Shame right :-) auto headlamp and many more. Jazz? just so so car & H badge.

@@hafizyyyyyy I think it depends what you prioritise bro. Myvi is now more fuel efficient and has alot of gadgets. The jazz is a 2015 car which back then does not have as many gadgets but the driving is definitely much better.

The Jazz is a more solid car for sure that handles better. That’s about it. Yet the Myvi is a great town driving car with all the safety features.
Long distance in the Myvi is reasonable. Slightly noisy but no real issue when the radio is on. Front seats are fine for 4-6 hour journeys. Back seats are comfy.
Jazz starts at 72k whilst the top of the line Myvi is at 58k. This is a very unfair comparison.

Just get a new Myvi. The spec are a hell lot better than Jazz and even City Hatchback especially safety department. The reason why you might buy a Honda because of the badge only and spend more money for kosong spec car.

Personal opinion, myvi design is better than honda jazz. Honda jazz is good but i don’t like the front design, look ugly..
in this video myvi is 2022( the latest one ). but jazz 2014( prefl) still old design. if u know jazz 2019 have new front design. its called as jazz fl plus. this comparison is not fair enough. the myvi is the fullspec while jazz just got low spec.
