Yuehua Entertainment must have had a party after the finale. Four of their trainees debuting, that is crazy. Yuehua is a professional in the survival show game, especially in China and even for them it is only the second time that four of their trainees debut in one survival show group. And one of their trainees even got the center postion.
Moreover they had another finalist, who gained a lot of recognition in Korea.
And their three eliminated trainees kept being shown on screen because the debuting trainees kept thanking them. They have literal gold in their hands.
Hope yuehua doesn't screw this up. Also how many yuehua trainees were on the show?

@@shikikywketsuki9892 these types of speculations don't make sense. It's okay to not feel good abt the lineup but these yeuha trainees truly live up to their expectations. They have got one of the best trainees in the industry. They have proved themselves as well. The ones we got in the lineup are amazing as well and they still got a lot to show us in the future. Their company doesn't have to worry abt such things.

**Keita** was THE ultimate all rounder. Main rapper material, vocals were SUPPORTED, 10 years of training, LAST Japanese candidate standing. Even with the low kvotes I had faith in him and voted everyday. I’m devastated

they all deserve it but goddamn am I upset, my favs were Jay, keita and Jongwoo, and knowing Jay was 1 spot away from making it makes me so sad, he literally has IMO one of the best voices I've heard, the growl in his vocals, god, I just hope and pray that the rest of the guys or atleast keita and jay will do something so we can see them more, having seen keita since Treasure box and seeing him again here, he better get something after all this time 😭
since jay is in contact with Beomhan, its pretty much confirmed we’ll get updates from him. Phanbin and Kamden is the one that we should be most worried about in terms of disappearing from the face of the earth 😭
as a zhanghao one pick, once matthew was announced as third place i started getting anxious because i thought top 2 could’ve easily been shanbin and keita or yujin, i guess i was very wrong but i’m happy, once he was announced as candidate for first place i started bawling my eyes out, and don’t even get me started on when he was announced first, i had the same reaction as him, i thought i heard it wrong or i understood it wrong and just looked so confused until i realized lmao

Something which was really precious to me was seeing the eliminated trainees. It is wonderful that Wumuti, Woongi and Haruto got to speak in front of such a big crowd and be showered in the loudest cheers they must have ever heard. I hope that got strength from this.
Gunwook's Jellyfish friends were precious. (And him thanking Dayeon was also cute.)
Hwanhee being shown on screen for a bit too long during Jiwoong's speech, to the point that he didn't know what to do anymore, was precious.
Wakeone trainees came with banners.
As well as Yuehua Entertainment trainees who ended up being shown a lot more because so many from their company debuted. Ollie, Yunseo and Brian were precious. They all cried for at least one of their debuting friends. They kept showing their banners towards the cameras and I am pretty sure that Ollie held Ricky's banner upside down for a considerable amount of time.
When Ricky debuted Haruto joined them and they were all standing there celebrating together. Haruto was jumping up and down when Zhang Hao's name was called.
When Zhang Hao debuted Kuanjui collapsed. He was kneeling on the dirty floor, with his head down and crying. Other trainees were checking if he was okay.
These moments of rare emtions and precious friendship are the reason why I can say that I enjoyed watching Boys Planet. I wish the very best to every single trainee.
*Bonus* After Matthew's name was called Ricky's mother and Zhang Hao's mother (I am pretty sure that it were these two), congratulated Matthew's mother and sister for a moment and then immediatly went back to praying with there heads down.

Jay was my one pick but I was a Zhang Hao solo stan and I wanted to scream when he got 1st but I was at school. I hate the debut name and I hate that Jay and Keita and Park Hanbin didn't debut, but I hope better things come in the future for all of them.

This episode managed to fully convince me that Kim Gyuvin gives amazing hugs. He greeted every trainee with a different type of hug (sometimes in combination with an high five) and every hug looked very comfortable and like it was filled with warm emotions.

The lineup is perfect! Honestly all they need is Keita. The issue isn't WHO made it in, it's how MANY people made it in. Lee Hoetak, Hui. Almost every trainee who debuted thanked him personally. To me he is be the Bora of this seasons and the flashbacks are painful.
And him asking Zhang Hao if he really snors because he doesn't know because he sleeps with giant headphones was my personal funniest moment of the episode after princess Kamden. (A group of boys tries really hard to come up with something funny. "Hey, one of us should dress up as a girl" "Yeah sure. You do it")
Anyway, I will follow his career further. As I will with all of the other boys and young man.

I don't think the votes were rigged. They wouldn't have taken the risk to debut four trainee from same company in that case. We can't disagree that the trainees who got selected were actually famous trainee both internationally and in Korea.

Also I'd be wary of Jay debuting in America because of our PC culture. At the start of the show there were allegations made about Jay that he "supported" an abuser.
As it turned out, some psycho chick spread that online because she use to date Jay's best friend and reportedly she was actually really manipulative and that's why he broke up with her. Telling people online that he was an "abuser supporter" was her way of getting back at her ex-bf even though Jay had NOTHING to do with it.
But all the feminists here would just take the girl at her word.

I had Ricky as my one pick.
I was at the doctors while the top 9 was being revealed, I apologised to my doctor and explained I was watching something live that I'd been voting on. I had to give a urine sample, and I left my the stream on with my headphones plugged in, and left my phone with my doctor while I nipped into the bathroom. I came back and handed over my sample, looked at my phone and saw Ricky had just ranked at 4. I was so excited.
I am over the moon that Zhang Hao ranked number 1. It took me several seconds to realise that was what was going on. I was on the bus back from the doctors at this point.
So I got super excited in public on the bus both too and from my appointment, and absolutely lost it while my doctor dealt with my urine sample. My doctor found it amusing and was happy that my pick made it, but yeah, all round a weird situation there...
When 9 was too be revealed, I was so hoping that it would be Keita, or Jay.
There were so many deserving candidates. I hope for all of them to achieve their dreams, and I wish them all the most happiness and success possible. I am looking forward to supporting both ZB1 and all the trainees who didn't debut this time. Jay, and Keita are both very talented, absolute sweethearts, and are popular globally. I am looking forward to seeing what is next for them and giving them my support. There are too many to list, but I am hoping to see more from Woongki, Sungmin, and Haruto especially, as well as others like Anthonny, and Krystian.
I am excited to support ZB1. It's bittersweet that some of my faves didn't make it, but it's to be expected, and I still have hope.
But I am so happy for Ricky, Zhang Hao, and Jiwoong in particular. I'm looking forward to ZB1.

I can tell you that the Boys Planet Producers were celebrating once they saw the finale lineup. Storytelling wise this was a masterpiece. Some popular trainee's further down, making the top and middle more exciting. Gyuvin showing everyone how dramatic this elemination is, Gunwook as a pleasant surprise, Ricky shows up just as you are thinking maybe there won't be any G-Group trainee, Matthew's ranking going back up higher than many viewers expected.
No Yurina and Xiaoting situation, both Haobin and Mattbin made it. Sure other friendships were broken but those were they two they showed us the most. And no Xiaoting falling down either. Haobin staning there for the third time and than Hao being called for first place. At least the less xenophobic producers must have loved that, because that is TV gold. That is a story arc coming to an end. After how shocking and all over the place Kep1er's debut announcement was, they have proven, that they still can manipulate the viewers and shape the show how ever they want to.
Speaking of Kep1er, if they had the K-Group and G-Group system during Girls Planet 999, they would have put Bahiyyih in G-Group for sure.
That means two things. First, we as global voters should have known that we have the power to get our global trainees high.
And secondly, in a way there are more global trainees in Kep1er than in ZB1.
yeah even though the rank was kind of predictable, the ranks werent so i was at the edge of my seat the entire time.
there was kinda a xiaorina situation tho, not for the friendship but for the ranks
keita is the yurina: always in top 9 and then fell
yujin is the xiaoting: always top 5 but barely made it at 9th place

When it comes to Ricky, he is different from the rest. He is a perfect addition to Kpop. He is going to bring something new. That's why people voted for him. And he is an all rounder also. Very big charisma

And yeah, Jay was 3rd in global voting and Keita was also very high. Zihao too. Only international fans saw his talent while Koreans were ignoring
They should do the same thing in BP as they did in Produce 101, get the trainees from rank 10 to 15 and have them in a separate group and promote for like 1 year and half. I know that JBJ only promoted for 7 months, but this group would need double the time. It was so unfair for Hui, Jay and Keita to not be picked, they deserved better, so even a short project group would have been something.

When Jiwoong was first announce I literally screamed and rank did not matter to me anymore at all because I knew that he was in danger position and could actually be not part of zb1. So I was happy that moment and didnt bother much. Also, i just want to add, Jiwoong during final perf was extra dashinh!!! He got so many screentimes during the perf and I think that was the first, maybe because he got many lines this time. And during the announcement, he was very cute I totally love him specially when he forgot the name he is debuting into. And the way he relive the I caught (?) you part at the end!

Finally a Jungwoo comment 🥺 I've been so bitter this whole time knowing that not only he didn't get in, he was 18th place. Reading the comments here made me realise he wasn't as popular as I thought among the top 18. I hope he continues his dream, and be more successful.
On another note, ZhangHao as PO1 completely shocked me, I was hoping Shanbin would remain as number 1 but I don't mind Zhanghao winning too.

I’ve always liked Jiwoong but my care waned over time as I found other trainees I adored more but then hearing his vocals in “Hot Summer”, I was just mesmerized and I realized that there truly is something there. He does genuinely deserve to be in ZB1 and I can’t wait to see how all 9 mesh together in one singular concept
There's not much difference in points from 8th to 5th place so it could've literally gone either way between Jiwoong and Gunwook with just a few more/less votes
i started crying my eyes out for like over 2 hours when i didnt see jay in the final line up especially seeing him at 10th place. icl i rather the bottom 9 over top 9. i just dont really know if ill stan zb1 even though my 4th pick(ricky) is in the lineup

I really saw some videos on tiktok and youtube of reactions about the final top and not many were happy about Gyuvin and Yujin and some were saying bad comments, like saying not to stan the group cuz they were there and calling them dozens. I really understand that not everyone likes them, but dragging them is not a good thing. Still they debuted!! Just be happy for them :(
I don't like them that much just because I think there were more skilled trainees that deserved the spot but I hate those people who say that bad things ... I hope I will get to appreciate them more in the group.
(But still sad about Keita, Jay and Jongwoo not making it)
I actually think the final lineup is PERFECT, I truly hoped Jiwoong will rank higher but he's IN, so it doesn't really matter anymore, except for the P01 center, the ranks are meaningless now

I voted for Ji Woong like every time because he is gonna be the best thing in kpop ever, but GUNWOOK BLEW MY MIND HOLY FKN SHIT. I am so happy for him, did you see him shaking? He was was like wtf. I agree with you on Ji Woong though coming in at 8, like yeh it was low, but I was like THANK FK I CAN RELAX lol. I thought Matthew wasn't gonna make it but was glad he did. Awwww I love Yuvin, he is such a golden maknae and Ji Woong adores him so I know he will be looked after really well.

Many people might ve saying that your one-pick shouldn't have made it....
And that someone else who they call more talent or more ready to debut or anything like that deserved it more and should be in their places....
Still:
It is valid that you find comfort in you the trainees you like.
It is okay that you love some trainees others don't love.
It is good that you voted for your one-pick and wished for their debut.
It is beautiful that you felt joy when the trainee you rooted debuted.
You have the right to be pleased with the lineup.
Your fav debuted and that won't change no matter what people say. Don't let anybody take away your happiness.
And a message for everybody who is displeased with the lineup.
When the trainees watched the messages sent from their fans, a girl thanked Gyuvin for helping her with her depression and anxity. Every trainee has fans and for their fans they are something beautiful, a source of comfort and joy. I truely think that alone is enough to make somebody deserving of debut.
When you go around sharing your opinion, remember that your words have consequences. They might affect the trainee or idol who seems so far away. And they are even more likely to affect the fans of these idols. Don't go around and accuse people of voting for visuals only, or insult them for supporting K-trainees.
Everyone is allowed to have their opinion. But everytime you say that a trainee didn't deserve to debut (which is different from expressing your sadness that someone you loved didn't debuted), you are telling that trainee's fans that you wish that something which made them happy had never happened.
I now that I am being far too deep right now. I just wish that we could all be nicer to each other.

Thank you so much for saying this. The amount of anger towards some of the trainees that made it into the debut line-up is really sad. You would think that after such a tragedy yesterday, people would be more mindful with their words.
I agree with this. As someone who wished Gyuvin and Yujin to debut together, I was really upset and mad at how the live chat reacted towards the boys. Like I'm sorry if your pick didn't make it, but all the boys deserved to debut since they all equally worked hard towards this. It's no reason to spread hate towards trainees as young as these 2. Let's just all support ZB1 and the eliminated trainees! :)

I think the hate towards certain trainees is misguided. They put their hate on the trainees when they should be focusing on mnet for making it an unfair competition.
Like I do kinda like the group but seeing what happened to two trainees I really like not make it and who would probably debut if votes were equal really stung.

Do you think that they didn't show the 10th and 11h place candidates in the usual dramatic way because they were runing out of time? If so than Zhang Hao's and Hanbin's long speeches saved us from another way to long and painful announcement. If there were runing out of time, was that also the reason why Hanbin and Hao got to walk up the stairs together and one after the other like in the three elimination rounds. (But I think Bahiyyih and Chaehyun also walked up the stairs together. But I don't really remember.)
Or was it maybe out of consideration for Yujin's age? Although I remember them dramatically announcing Guinn Myah in 12th place during Girls Planet. But she looked like she was doing okay, while Yujin was giving me slight "If nobody tells me whether I made it or not right now, there is a possiblity that I might hyperventilate on stage" vibes.

They absolutely ran out of time. You can hear Minhyun trying to cut in multiple times during both of their speeches, but they said not today sis. My headcanon theory is that they kept their speeches going long so they couldn’t torture the contestants with the P09 announcement. Your reactions were similar to mine. The hate Gyuvin was getting while he was having a meltdown made me cry the most. Like What did he do to deserve That?? Nothing! Exactly and now I'm en garde!! #protectourpuppy I just now gave him that nickname, He's a freaking harmless addorable puppy! When Gon wook was called I also reacted like Gyuvin, SHOOK, Like my son mad It! But that meant Phanbin would be in 10th place...but he was lower. Poor Junhyeong, It's so heart breaking, like a family member is was left behind.
Honestly with how things were going it made me not so shook when Zhang Hao got first place, I'm supper happy for him. But that's fr crazy, the one time being #1 was actually important Hanbin doesn't get it. But at least both twins Set some records. The first person to be first place throughout a whole survival show and the first foriegn member to get first place. #protectourbabyyujin From the world, and gyuvin, cause he's actually stuck with him forever now lol.
Lastly Phanbin was my 2nd one pick and I'm mad at myself, because I let Matthew being in 9th place scare me too much he's my 1st pick. And Kieta Was Definetly robbed, they really took all his bank money with no warning, And no Time to Mentally prepare himself! Justice for KINGKIETA! And I'm not gonna say Ricky is the one That Robbed him, cause he doesn't Even Need the money...
I quite like most of the ZB1 lineup but am really going to miss Jay, Keita, and PHanbin :( Hoping we see a lot of these trainees again debuting in a new group together in a fashion similar to a lot of other groups in the past have after survival shows :)
I really hope they do minimal rapping and stick to vocal heavy songs, because there are no real rappers in this group. Yeah, some of them can talk fast, but that's not rapping. Plus they are singers, and I'm a little sad that some of them are going to have to be put in the rapper category instead.
It's a decent lineup, not my personal fav, but good. I'll probably still follow their progress for a Matthew, SHanbin and JiWoong.
Honestly… even though Jay was my “One-Pick” from Day 1, and I’m actually devastated that he didn’t debut [especially when he got #10th which was literally just one spot away from debut and was an early on stand out who was totally dropped by the fandom for absolutely no reason]; I’m still relatively happy with most of the debut lineup except **cough** **cough** ranks #7 and #9, BUT OTHER THAN THAT so many of my other picks made it. I was genuinely scared for Matthew after last week and I sincerely expected Zhang Hao to pull a Xiaoting, but turns out HE MADE HISTORY by being the first foreign trainee to win the center position in an MNET survival show and you do not know how happy I am for him. What i wasn’t expecting was for Keita to be the Yurina of the season, I saw so many people say they where worried for him early on but I honestly thought he was a lock for the group since he was in the Top 9 in every elimination round… TL;DR I will definitely still support ZB1 in the future especially if they have great music, i hope they have more success than what Kep1er has been having because it would be a shame to have put all these boys trough so much just for them to flop 😢
I honestly really said Hui was too old to debut in a 5th gen boy group and saw many saying the same thing too but then they be voting for Yujin who's literally a minor 😭 bro what?? Obviously he's so much talanted but he's literally 15 bro 15! He really missed his mom the whole time and I feel like it could have been better if Yujin got to stay with his family for some more time before debuting . Honestly I'm happy for him but the hardships in kpop is scaring the sh!t out of me . I hope he is doing well
because you know, a debut slot under mnet can change one trainee's idol career. Nowadays, kpop stan always come for Big3+ hybe groups, the chance to succeed for other groups who are not in these 4 company is so small. Mnet group is another case, they have fame during the show and will get more fan after debut, they have great exposure to kpop stan. In Yujin's case, yuehua is one of the worst company in managing, i don't think if he debut later in yuehua , he will succeed. This is true to all 98 trainees in Boy Planet, so their chance to succeed is in hand of their own fan. As Yujin stan, we also have to work very hard to give Yujin one slot debut in top 9 because we don't want to see him in a failure group manged by a bad company

After few reflections, I feel like fore some trainees who didn't make it, it is "better" for them because at least they won't be under wakeone's debatable management (but it's still sad because they won't debut despite all their efforts, so I hope their companies won't sleep on their talent and will use the momentum to have successful groups)

I’m actually pretty disappointed with the lineup. We had 4 main vocalists to create a very strong vocal line and only Taerae got in, no real main rapper so I guess gunwook will have to take the rap and a lot of visuals and dancers. I just think there was wasted potential here. I guess zhanghao, Hanbin and maybe Matthew can help Taerae and I guess Jiwoong and maybe Gyuvin can help gunwook, but idk. Looking at the 9 remaining there was 3 main vocalists, 2 main rappers and 2 main dancers, it looks more balanced.
My hopes of Jay making it were crashed by the time Matthew appeared so I was able to internalize it, but the fact that he was 10th and knetz were the ones that pushed Yujin to 9th, I can’t take it. Also, Keita not making it blows my mind, zb1 really is going to be at kcon Japan without any Japanese member.
I hope the music is good, I will check it because I like zhanghao, Taerae and Jiwoong but idk, i think we could had something better.

Agreed with this comment section 100% the line up is good, but could have been better, the only thing that could differentiate and elevate them from the rest of the groups is a brilliant concept and great songs, they and we deserve it. I hope W1 don't get push them in a single position and exploit them to their full potential, I want to see Yujin and Gyuvin improve in their signing, they are not just dancers and a pretty face, i want to see Jiwoong and Gunwook sing too, not just rapping, I want to see Taerae improving his dancing, cause they have a really good dance line, and who knows maybe Haobin could try to rap, Ricky and Matt too. They all could really be excellent all rounders in the future, we'll see.

I screamed for Matthew as much as you did for Zhang Hao, literally i started dancing in my living room and my mom was like "is she possessed or what" also my cat when saw me jumping and dancing hidden under the sofa😂 I had a little less big reaction for Gunwook (idk but I expected not expected he made it) and Ricky, literally i never thought he would make it. About Rank 1 & 2 Jesus when Hao was called I was in positive shock, like OMG WE MADE HISTORY!!!! Anyway I'm sad for Junhyeon, i surely Stan him if he debut somewhere, same with Jay, those 2 stole my heart❤️
Honestly, jay is such a strong performer if he ends up even as a soloist he will still have such a strong following. Obviously im sad he didnt debut and we have to wait longer to see him shine but he should have a good future ahead of him no matter what

All I have to say is Kum Junhyeon deserved so much better he really didn’t get the appreciation he deserved all he wanted to do was sing but he kept getting lines that were like 3 seconds long I’m just disappointed by MNET but what do I have to say it’s MNET so I’m not surprised

I still don't get how Haruto, Seowon and woongki got eliminated before the final round... also yedam being eliminated so so early.. like what?! And park hanbin not making it into the final lineup breaks my heart. Literally love them so much, they're crazily skilled and just such awesome boys! The show would've been much less entertaining without them..I knew it was an bad idea to get so emotionally invested in an survival program, not doing that again xD I get attached too easily

One thing for sure--2023 will be a fun year for bg stans.
I don't mind Yujin being in the group, I just think he is too young so I would have prefered Jay, Keita or PHanbin (that would've made it my dream line-up) but I'm not going to hate on Yujin.
But I agree Jay would have probably been hated on (I still don't get the hate against him) so maybe it's for the better. Keita has become a bit passive in the last challenges, or maybe it's just been edited this way? I'm not sure. PHanbin has just been robbed, he was a sunshine and so hardworking.
All in all I'm happy tho my pick was Zhanghao and I voted for Gunwook too bc I really wanted him in the group.

I'm really bummed Jay didn't make it. He was favorite since auditions. Someone commented he gets hate. Why? The other one that I really wanted to debut was seung eun. His voice is so unique and I just thought he added something special. I thought the group needed more vocals. Keita not making it sucks but if I had to choose between him and park gun wook I would take gun. I have no problems with yu Jin. Think of the potential. He got better as the show went. He's got a ton of talent and he's 16. He's already got the dancing and visual part locked down. In a few years he will be a star for sure. They needed a good maknae anyways. It's a good group but I think I like 10-18 just as much to be honest. I might switch one or two out for Haruto at the very least. I wonder why they don't consider making another group. People would support them and they would make good money.
I will forever be bitter about the way y'all treated Park Hanbin. Imagine being a trainee under SM entertainment and getting your hopes up that you're going to debut in a Big 3 Group.
Then imagine auditioning for PNATION X JYP'S LOUD, only for your parts not to get aired in the show.
Then he joined Boys Planet as a REAL ACE (I know people very casually use the word ACE in K-pop, but Hanbin was a real one right from the start.) He did not get to be in the top 9, not even once.
You could tell that he wanted it so badly after all he has been through. He was a trainee that ticked all the boxes, and had EVERYTHING it took to be an idol. He was debut ready. My heart goes out to Hanbin, I really hope that he joins an even better company where his talents won't get wasted and were he will get better treatment.
