So if you digivolve to togemon x from togemon the palmon effect still happens but has no effect due to it being a 0 cost digivolve?
Correct
You are essentially reducing a 0 cost evo by 1. Which since it's a reduction, and not a memory gain, it kinda does nothing. Something to keep in mind when using effects like this.

Are you still using the Purple Matt? What did you cut out so you could add the Full Moon Meteor Impact to the deck? Great match 👍
I just replace metal storm with full moon. Just made more sense in the deck. Still running 2 blaze as well as the full moon
And yeah purple matt is still a 2 of in the deck

I agree koko is a bad egg for roseX. You have more than enough draw power from evo.
Can Rosemon X really stun Melga and Matt even if she did not suspend them like at 5:10 ? The wording on the card is really weird.
could have burst rosemon. Swing over melga, trash a security, it de-evos itself at the end. Rose X would be able to trigger and Burst mode effect has a duration so nothing could unsuspend including a freshly raised garu
If he still had an ace that was a moment to prepare a quartz+rose x board lock
does he play Melga cause Gabumon is his favorite digi? cause man, I question most of his plays on most of the videos

@richardmendez9795 bruh, clearly, if you see absolutely optimally, then yeah, clearly the game would have been over sooner. But you won't see optimally every game. You can't see what's in the players hands so how can you say what they did in the moment wasn't the best they could have done? It's easy to sit there and say "they should have done...." when you don't have all the information at hand. Just try and remember that next time you want to critique someone else's gameplay

It's because its strong and basically autopilot
Kokomon is a trap egg for Rosemon decks. the Tanemon that gives +2k when you suspend a tamer is better, esp since you draw so much by just evo thru your stack. the extra dp is just better for when its time to start some aggression of your own. i also prefer bt14 Rosemon for that, but idk what Chris' justifications are for certain things, so i guess i'd have to go watch the deck profile. def would recommend swapping the eggs tho.
Edit: lol he did say he was planin on swappin the Kokomon. I'd still recommend he try a DP+ egg with the newer Rosemon (BT14?) and see how he likes it.
Yeah I prefer the newer Rosemon and I'm currently using EX4 Nyaromon just for consistent dp boosts. I've told him I think Koko is bad since we started testing it lol
