I have been using cupi more as the main sinds drawing with ukko is mostly not a problem. Also i have been using magnamon ace with x antibody prototype with is so funny if you have 2-3 t.k. 😁

I can’t believe I’m seeing you play not only Ukkomon, but also Emissary in your Magna vax list. 😂 You’re reason for not liking Emissary is the same as mine. I’ve only been playing one in my list, but in pure yellow vax, I ran 3 since basically everything you do in that deck recovers, and triggering Gato or Seraphi off of it was pretty good.

I admire the testing to get to that build, but I hate that it's legal. So much here feels like it shouldn't be.

I've been playing ancientgabu for a while now, it's my favorite deck, and it's very cool to see it getting noticed. Playing it to people who don't know what it is is super funny. "Matt isn't once per turn" was said many times. I've also played an Agu/angrey version and it works, just slightly less good because deletion<bounce.. Also apology accepted 😂

The ancientgaru bond deck is so disgusting. I went against a dude with analogs, matts and luis set up and he went into ancient garu 3 times in a single turn.

39:29 for a normal BT set, in one box you are guaranteed 7 SRs, 1 AA, and 1 AA/SEC (total 2 hits). The last few sets have basically had 8 regular SEC in a case, with at least 1 or 2 AA SEC. For some EX sets (like EX6), you are guaranteed each box to have 6 SRs, 2 AA, and 1 AA/SEC (total 3 hits). Some of the sets, like EX3 were 3 AA with a SEC every couple boxes (total 4 hits for some reason), with a third of the case having SECs…give or take.

Our store had no pre-release and no boxes despite ordering them and being told they would get them. Everyone's mad. People are having to do shenanigans to get boxes and they're so expensive. Bandai screwed up somewhere somehow. Other stores nearby that did get cards didn't get half that they asked for and they had to put hard limits on how many you could get. I had to go to a sport card shop at opening on Friday and there was a line. And nobody was scalping. Just nuts.

The Gammamon was a Chinese exclusive.

Thanks for reading my comment from last week's episode! I know Sakuyamon has been relegated to coping and pet deck status, but the new stuff has been legitimately useful to the deck. More cards that search ALL the things the deck wants to see is so necessary now. But it is true that we just also need Plug Ins that do more. Renamon's line was my favorite from Tamers (for non-degenerate reasons, hate that i need to specify that) and I really want this pet deck to have a little bit of fun in the sun.

Green kind of got screwed out of this set because the movies didn’t really focus on any of the green tamers in the game.

For a bit of contrast, my LGS got 4 cases of bt-17. And I think they still have stuff left over after official release (our locals are always packed too, so I'm surprised by that). But during bt-16 pre-release, they only got 1 case. And only a couple of us bought them out immediately when they opened that day. It feels odd. Anyway, banlist announcement! Think it's been long overdue, or perfectly timed? Love the podcast, gets me through the workday. Appreciate you guys!
