“Sorry if this episode is shorter” also the episode being twice as long lol
28:00 Just to clarify since hybrids will become more relevant in bt17, dedigi does not require anything to have a level or even be a digimon. The only things that prevent something from dedigi further is if it is a lv3, or if it has no sources.
2:41:45 They play Leon because you can evo over it with your Hybrid to swing, then delink it EOT to basically recycle your mem setter. If you went into Garuru you even play out a second tamer via its EOT Deletion effect effectively going +1 tamers on field.
Q: What are your thoughts on generic lv7 Aces and are they healthy for the game? Also how many hours do each of you usually invest in Digimon related things on any given week.
Really excited to see what are you gonna cook with Omni and Omni Alter once BT17 is out. Hoping it's gonna be a bit more than a fun casual deck.
"All this green is bad" is a good summation of the set.
By the way, with the de digivolve ruling, I’m pretty sure you can de digivolve past a Takuya, since it specifies only rookie, and Takuya is not a rookie
can devo past a level 2 if you don't hit a rookie first.
Correct
The reason ukkomon is problematic is the free hatch. That tempo gained can't be underestimated. It also guarantees followup even if your board is removed.
It's not just the free hatch, or I think the other Ukko would be more of a problem. It's that it gives you a free hatch on top of making your hand more consistent on top of being a redundancy for the memory Ukko. I think it really needs to go to one. Nume wasn't this consistent until it got the second Ukko. (Signed a dirty dirty Nume player.)
1:32:31 I fought a guy on Drasil once who ran Pulsemon. you want to know what his win condition was? the Level 7 fenri.
Fenriloogamon has Pulsemon in it's text, so you can hard play it, dna into the level 7, go back to 2 memory, otk in roughly the same time as Loogamon it feels like. I haven't seen the deck since that one guy, but the level 7 fenri is better off in Loogamon's deck imo than in pulsemon.
having played a lot of dark masters, I think you're underestimating the impact of Mephistomon. By going into Omnimon Zwart, you can bring back him and one of the recruiters, sacrifice him to the recruiter, then put a dark master into play and into your raising, setting you up to go right into ultimateChaosmon on the next turn
interesting, using Dark Masters in an Ultimate Chaosmon deck sounds facinating
40:18 yeah, that's not how that works. The megakabu would try to evade but the it is already marked for destruction by game mechanics.
Reviewing the rules again you are right about megakabu. My bad.
The fact that the new Owen Dreadnaught tamer doesn't do anything for Greymon OR r/p imperialdramon is a crying shame (since those are his decks in Liberator). 'When a card is removed from a security, you may suspend this tamer to delete one of your opponent's digimon with 4k dp or less.' It's never going to come up for the decks he's a part of.
Imperial isn't Owen's partner. He has abandoned Greymon for a new partner we have seen the rookie of, but don't have a name or any other details yet.
@@a.block.of.tofu. on Liberator's poster Owen (I think) it's him with Virus Imperialdamon Fighter Mode. (Unless I'm mistaken on that). If the rookie isn't Wormmon or Veemon, what is the rookie?
@@amateurishauthor2202 If you look closely on that poster you can see Owen's partner to his left. He's a little pink dinosaur guy.
@@a.block.of.tofu. Sure enough I can see the lil guy, it looks like Virus Imperialdramon is an NPC's boss monster? I find that very lame, but now I gotta know what all the other partners evolve into.
@amateurishauthor2202 I am really excited to see Owen's partners new evos. Hopefully, he gets a cool deck.
Question - what would ur guyses dream set would be for digimon? Mine would be a dedicated Tamers/Season 3 main set. (and even if you dont know about the anime seasons, a set can focus on a type of digimon like Draconic Roar was just dragons) Also I think you use Hacker Judge so u can keep re-using it, like how black hybrid mother uses the mind link tamers.
The Florida heat
😢
(while looking at Cerberusmon: werewolf mode)
Sean: What the hell is this played in?
Chris: Cereberus :D
Sean: ... That's not a deck
I cracked, hilarious
Youre massively underestimating bt17 Takato. It's not worse bt12, it's better bt12. Combined with ex2 takato and either rush guil or bt13 gallant he can win you games.
Here you go then Chris, green user submitted deck specifically for you, time to blast some buns with this B(unny) tier deck:

This is the BT17 version, the EX6 version just uses the purple EX4 Antylamon instead.
I have a baby's first deck list/discussion video up with this list on my channel if you want to listen to me ramble about digital rabbits for almost an hour. The list itself is only about 20 minutes at the beginning.
This pre-release is gonna be ass
The way this is reviewed kinda tells you that they either don't play the decks some of these cards were made for, or that they really don't know what they're talking about... I get that it is played for laughs but damn. Both pulsemon and eosmon are nutty. Barely qualifies as a review
Pulse can do some things but EOS is still bad unless you're playing a deck that runs little to no tamers at all you are constantly protected from any of the BT17 level 5's nonsense. Literally there's no reason for you to ever play your tamers because they are are going to be forced to play them for you also every deck having some form of de-digi means that the level 6 is not an issue
@@daredae436I don't agree whatsoever. The deck can do an insane amount of damage whilst being protected, de digivolve on a regular basis and control board. If you de digivolve eosmon lvl 6 you're kinda doing it a favor cause it recycles the absolutely insane inherit of the promo and new morphomons
They don't really playtest sets so I wouldn't recommend this as solid advice more than first impressions. That said you are sorely wrong on pulsemon and Eosmon. Both of those decks are absolutely hot garbage and you're being misled if anyone made you think differently. I have playtested bt17/ex7 and the JP placing for Eosmon are all low entry locals, not real tournaments. Eosmon will get just as many placings in bt17 as it has in all past formats. Which is to say 0.
My opinion is Ukko should be ban paired with Ukko.
