Very true! That is how I found my pet cats, one had a collar on but it was obvious to me he was abandoned by his owners in my front porch. I just can't see how anyone could leave a domestic animal in a rural or urban area and think they will survive on their own.😔

Thats basically how my nephews got the dog. It started running after the car and it was winter so they let it in and ten years later its still kicking.

Moxie was with them from April of 2021 to March of 2022. It was announced on Instagram that she died in an accident. She had almost a year long of adventures on IG under moxie_the_shorkie .

It's an all-too-common tale. So many animals are dumped in the middle of nowhere. They are confused and frightened and don't understand why they're not wanted. I'm proud of this couple for recognizing that and giving Moxie a home with them.
She's probably one of the 'I'm so needy and self centered, let's get a shelter dog and then abandon them when we go back to work' dogs! It's an epidemic now! The shelters filled back up with dogs that have separation anxiety. They were good enough when people were in need of companionship, then dumped when THEY were in need the most. Despicable!

I have always been an animal lover....We regard ourselves human with so little humanity...how can someone have the heart to abandon such an innocent puppy??? We are all so happy to know that she now have a family that loves her just like she wished...☺️

I am so glad they took her in and gave her a loving home, and that she has kitty friends, but I really wish they didn't take her back to were they found her to see if she would "run home" that was not right, and added to her trauma. I agree, that was hard to watch. They were trying to do the right thing but a dog in that poor condition (and not even chipped) shouldn’t be going back to that home even if they identified it. I’d be more inclined to get her treated and retain documents and photos showing the dog’s condition, to prove that she had been neglected & HAD to be saved from the road. Then I’d get her chipped and take her. Might be legally dubious but morally it would be wrong to give her back to folk who clearly neglected and dumped her. That is not a dog who ran away from her people voluntary.
I saw this on FB through Dodo. It came out that this dog wasn't dumped and, he isn't being rescued. The dog actually belongs to the people in the car who the dog is chasing. They have pulled this stunt so many times that people clicked and, they were outed!
I’m so glad the couple rescued her. I really hate people who abandon and leave pets for whatever reason! It’s so disgusting. My respect has gone up to the couple, thankfully she’s more safer now ❤️

Almost all of my animals are wander ups or rescues. They're a bit of work and totally worth it. The one's that find you are the best and so grateful. Don't know how people can be so cruel and thoughtless. Love my fur babies 💗
Pets choose who they trust & my late best friend twice had rottweilers who adored me. I have a friend with a pitbull & he adores me as his owner. My cat is the same & I've had him since he was 5 months old but he'll be 8 years old in March.

I have always been an animal lover....We regard ourselves human with so little humanity...how can someone have the heart to abandon such an innocent puppy???

I can't believe that could ever associate with anyone or trusted anyone capable of abandoning a dog or any pet !!! They are helpless without us and they trusted us, they dependent on us for their very lives !!! If you find yourself unable for whatever reason you can't take care of or don't want your pet anymore take them to a shelter !!! Don't just abandon them !!! Abandonment is never an option !!!

OMG, how can someone be so cruel to abandon such an adorable precious baby like that?! I am so glad they took her in and gave her a loving home, and that she has kitty friends, but I really wish they didn't take her back to were they found her to see if she would "run home" that was not right, and added to her trauma. She is so frigging cute, seeing her run after the car was heartbreaking!
I agree, that was hard to watch. They were trying to do the right thing but a dog in that poor condition (and not even chipped) shouldn’t be going back to that home even if they identified it. I’d be more inclined to get her treated and retain documents and photos showing the dog’s condition, to prove that she had been neglected & HAD to be saved from the road. Then I’d get her chipped and take her. Might be legally dubious but morally it would be wrong to give her back to folk who clearly neglected and dumped her. That is not a dog who ran away from her people voluntary.

The dog actually belongs to the people in the car who the dog is chasing.

Almost all of my animals are wander ups or rescues. They're a bit of work and totally worth it. The one's that find you are the best and so grateful. Don't know how people can be so cruel and thoughtless. Love my fur babies 💗

Pets choose who they trust & my late best friend twice had rottweilers who adored me. I have a friend with a pitbull & he adores me as his owner. My cat is the same & I've had him since he was 5 months old but he'll be 8 years old in March.

Oh my God! This just broke my heart. I don't even have pets but this is so heartbreaking and cruel to witness. Why would someone get an animal only to abandon them? The fact that so many human beings are heartless enough to abandon their loved ones so cruelly and without a second thought for them is utterly despicable. It feels terrible to love so unconditionally only to be abandoned like used furniture. Please don't inflict this pain on any innocent animal or human. This is unconscionable. Thank you so much for rescuing and showing much needed love to this absolute bundle of joy.
