Only Up!" is inspired by the fairytale "Jack and the Beanstalk" and reminds some of a platformer. You'll follow the same mythological path as Jack to achieve something more than just climbing to the very top.
Among the features of the game are the ability to slow down time and change the speed of your character to be as collected as possible when making an important step or jump. The game also contains hundreds of Easter eggs and various references.
The game will require concentration and patience but remember ... the journey of 10,000 steps begins with the first step ... - Hry

The ending sums up my opinion of this game. Amazing how they couldn't even help themselves in including a shitty dad in a game that has nothing to do with it.
Is this game a homage to Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy / Sexy Hiking? It really follows the whole idea of a B-game, using recycled assets or prefabricated objects all bought and used from a model store. I'd be surprised if this wasn't inspired by those two games being a punishing climber game and all

This is the type of game where you regress faster than your progress especially later on, maybe minutes or even hours wasted after one fall. Seems like very much a time-wasting game. Normally games like these will have checkpoints, surprised this has ... None?

lmao, this dude made a game using free assets and slapped a 10€ price tag for this on steam, I think he'll be fine ... how did steam allow such price for this low effort is unknown though.
