I love you ladies!! One note, can we have some real time graphics and pictures so I can visually follow along with your stories and talks? Like with the story of Gaga, a photo would be nice. Thank you 😊
@@TAYLORWATCH 🌟 thank you for considering this comment 🌟 I love you girlies so much and I am alongside your fun, informative animated chats, you're my fave taylor podcast. 💝💕
Yes!! I always say this same thing!! Like it was on The Other Line! I’m sure that makes production much harder, maybe tell Barstool you guys are so popular now that you need more resources!!
John Rich was in Big and Rich that had “save a horse, ride a cowboy”. That was really big around that time which is probably why Taylor ended up working with him.
This was both my first break up album as a teen and my very first relationship that we had a song, which work today was a fairytale. After we broke up White horse was on repeat for at least a year.
I think Speak Now and Fearless will forever be my top two Taylor albums, partly because I loved country Taylor and partly because it’s so nostalgic! So I loved this deep dive!
1:34:35 that’s how Taylor introduced forever & always on the fearless tour, she had fake interviewers ask her “I heard that when you write songs that you include the names of actual guys you’ve dated, so these are guys that are walking around right now and they are named in the song, so here’s my question, I’m a little concerned about this if you are naming the guys you dated in your songs why do you think any guys gonna wanna date you?” And then Taylor says “well I guess in that situation I just figure that if guys don’t want me to write bad songs about them then they shouldn’t do bad things” and it was based on her getting asked questions like that in real interviews
Love you guys! You make my Tuesdays and Thursdays with Taylor Watch 😘 Coming from someone who was asked by a co-worker if she was pregnant and when I said “no” they said “are you sure” 🤯 this talk is so damaging, and I just love that Taylor and Gaga supported each other in this. It kills me every time I see those comments on photos of - in your words “our Queen Lord Savior” 😂 Kelly you are going to LOVE that TTPD sweatshirt. I want to wear it every day, even when it’s 90 degrees.
you guys have to remember that at the time big machine records was a very small indie label. they didn't have the money/resources for an international release unless they knew it would do well.
I don't think the biggest issue with commenting on things you shouldn't comes from too much access. So many people go on social media just to spread crap about people they don't like. I don't think negative comments should be made regarding any aspect of a person's appearance - whether it is weight, hair, clothes, or whatever. People have gotten way too comfortable with criticizing others in the anonymity of social media.
"Funny" thing about the co-writer John Rich-- he is from the country group Big and Rich, and singer of that song "Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)", which was pretty big after it came out in 2004.
The difference in release dates is probably due to country music just not being a thing in other countries, certainly not in non native English speaking countries. I bet that most of the country albums sold back then were imported and not locally distributed due to lack of a market.
The pregnancy talk, did people not pay attention to a word Taylor said about what that does to her in Miss Americana? Her,GaGa or anyone else,it’s nobody’s business,it’s beyond gross,we’re women, not objects.

will do! thank you!

I was older than both of you when fearless came out and i loved it!! I enjoyed getting swept away in the fairy tale of it all

This was fun!! Thank you 🙏🏼
Loved the Fearless facts.

Hell yeah 2 hours
lwymmd all the taylor’s trapped in the boxes…. telling 😎
I was 14 when fearless came to out and it was magical!!! Truly wish all female fans could experience that album at that time in their life!!!
Fearless coming out in 2008 makes Taylor 18 going on 19 which means she was only 17 or so writing those songs!
I was waiting for yall to talk about how people have said white horse sounds like a song on TTPD and relating them to Healy.
I think she is not mashing up the TTPD songs because they will go up for sale as acoustic tracks afterwards.

I know it’s obvious….but you should say this is TS2 at sometime. New fan here.
Yall I just realized the Jonas Brothers put out a song called “Don’t Speak” a year before Speak Now came out !!!!!
Are you kidding me????
That video with T Pain is frickin hilarious still-not cringe at all if you get her humor!! Hilarious!
White Horse couldn't be on Speak Now, because it is not self written.
I feel like Travis gave her back you belong with me. That is what I think about now when I heard that song. He was so freaking cute!

39:20 she wrote love story in 27 minutes and Joe broke up w her in a 27 second phone call… lmao
1:10:00 and that night with Taylor lautner being mentioned in back to remember! She says it was the first time he saw her cry
I just can’t get over the logo not being centered. Love the podcast, though
