I used this recipe & LAWWWWWWWDDDD 🙌🏾🙌🏾 only thing different I did was add a lil flour in during the last 30 mins (cause I like a thicker gravy) but it was amazing, thanks for sharing

I used this recipe for Christmas and man it was sooooooo GOOD!!!!! 🤤 My family literally cleaned the foil pan before I could get seconds, I was so upset. The only thing I did different is added a little bit of flour the last 30 mins to thicken up the gravy a little bit. I also added some hot sauce and worcestershire sauce (my family from Louisiana and likes stuff spicy). Thank you so much! 🙏🏾
Many brown their oxtails first, but being the Texan that I am, I smoked them first, then placed them in a pan, added all the braising liquid I made, any braised them until they were fork tender! So freakin good!

How many pounds of oxtail was that? I have cooked 3-4 lbs on top of the stove, but I like the idea of baking them in an aluminum pan like that & bringing them to family gatherings. I'm glad this recipe doesn't have any tomato sauce in it. Looks delicious!
