the final season is titled "tales of the tmnt" because its more like an anthonology season built up of small concise arcs.
And the title was used for the Mutant Mayhem universe

This is the final season for the 2012 series
I have a few notes:
First of all; since this season has the arc system I'll be reviewing these episodes on the final episode of the arc.
Secondly; I don't know how I feel about the new intro, I like certain parts of the intro but I still like the first 4 season's intros better. I'll do a deeper dive in the Characters later in the season.
Thirdly; I think Kavaxas is a pretty good villain, he's the only one to be immune to April's abbilities and he has cooler attacks/powers. It's also cool seeing a villain that the Turtles struggle with in my opinion.

IDW comics did have the turtles meet/become Ghostbusters a few times
Wyrm and kavaxas are the strongest characters in tmnt 2012
Really dig the Kavaxas saga and the special after this. Not sure if this was intentional but the Foot Cultists remind me of these dwarvish, ghoul like creatures from the Phantasm franchise. If you haven't seen it it's an insane horror series
The creators were big horror fans, they definitely were. More people need to know about Phantasm

I swear I feel like kavaxas is going to get revenge on tiger claw because he doesn't want to be controlled
Season 5 is different is that, instead of one or two big story arcs throughout the whole season, it's a season with fewer episodes than the rest of the series, comprised of shorter, multi-part, standalone story arcs spread out across the season, all of which could've been made into their own bigger arcs in a hypothetical longer season. This first arc is known as "The Cult of Shredder" arc by fans and on the DVD release.
The season 5 intro is similar to Cowboy Bebop and something else. It's interesting to see Mark Hamill in TMNT. I'm excited to see you guys react to the next episode and see the villain.

my 1 small problem i had with this kavaxas arc episodes was that i feel like they should have had tiger claw just accept that shredder is dead and he honor the foot clan and he brought back everybody that was part of the foot clan and he bring kavaxas and that the kavaxas arc episodes would be about the foot clan revenge on the turtles and them this kavaxas arc episodes would not only be kavaxas arc but tiger claw to especially in that 4th episode

I honestly feel like Tiger claw leading the loyal cultists to release Kavaxas unleashing all the demons on New York City was already a big threat that I don't think they needed to bring Shredder back.

see the kavaxas arc episodes should have had baxter stock man he could have upgrade the foot bots and the elite foot bots and made them look like the ones they look like in ninja turtles legends game and with different colors and could have brought back the mousers and his stock man suit scum bug and those ant mutants and those 4 tigers that tiger claw had at shredder new building in season 4 should have been with him they could have been his 4 ninja turtles but in tiger form really

I havent been keeping up with this show as you guys are now past where i stopped watching. Since this is the final season, when it come down to the last episodes will you be putting up a video to go over replacement options to vote on for the next show you do?
I'm pretty sure they do the polls on patreon so you'd have to be a part of that to vote I think. I personally wish they'd make an exception for this show and just make a poll on youtube but I don't think that would happen.. But I assume it'll probably be 2003 which I am really hoping for otherwise I'm personally not interested in them reacting to rise or 87 because I haven't seen either.

I kinda hate tiger claw for controlling kavaxas because he's a demon and I want to see him kill things
