One of the darkest and most intense episodes of Ninja Turtles 😎. It's always been interesting the parallel between Splinter and Shredder and how shredder continues to become more of a monster to the point where he looks like one now, and how Splinter while looking like a monster always maintained being human. Lastly, this is a small thing but I always found it kind of odd that Shredder is suddenly telling Karai that he is doing all of this out of love. I always found it more interesting that we could tell that Shredder cared for Karai without him saying the word love at any point. Although it could also be that the mutagen is just getting to his head 🤔.
With all due respect, the amount of things he’s done to Miwa we should know that he never loved her. Splinter loved her while shredder on the other hand was just using her to get back at splinter.
I CAN NOT WAIT FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON. As I've said again, this half of the season is the best part of the tmnt 2012 series. Splinter's voice actor was so good in this. I just wish the whole show had been as good as this part of the show. Super Shredder is honestly what makes me love this Shredder, it is the peak of what he is, a mad man obsessed with his twisted version of the past.
Idk if you guys know this but Season 5 isn’t really the final season. Season four is the real ending of the show and many people don’t consider season 5 canon. It is a bunch of mini stories and no main moments that impact the story.
Yea The writers intended season 4 to be the finale but the network ordered another season. It's also why we get the ending we do in season 5, because the writers didn't want another season ordered. (Until people complained about it being too dark and that ending was switched around and made an 'AU' sorta thing.)

They made that ending so another season wouldn't be ordered, because where could you go from there? But people complained how dark it was and they were kinda forced to say "hey, don't worry! I have a difficult time agreeing that the turtles should listen to Mikey more, because he's really only right when the plot demands it. He pranks them, he's convinced of things that never happened (ex. Fighting the cheese demon), and this Mikey can be written to be bafflingly dumb, making a mistake so bad it sometimes becomes the premise of the episode. When he's managed to make cures for the group after Donnie gets incapacitated, it's from luck. I get it, they're teenagers. They're meant to be silly and make mistakes so they can learn and grow. I started my freshman year of high school when this show came out, so as it progressed, I felt like I was growing up with them. It was neat. Idk where I'm going with this anymore. Good stuff
I do think they should listen to Mikey more often because he’s constantly warned them about many things and they often ignore him only for him to be right
The fight on the train is absolutely my favorite fight scene in the show. Also damn dude. Light spoilers but how in the hell the Rahzar survive getting fucking smushed under a train? even back when I saw this episode for the first I thought he was done for 😭 Anyway, this episode is goes super hard. One of the best in the series
12:11 you know, Donnie is fighting these guys for the first time, the last and first episode we saw them which was broken foot it was only his brothers, karai and shini that were there because of what happened to him, getting blown up in the chemical factory

you got to admit that this super shredder is way better than the secret of the ozze super shredder that super shredder was just an big dude knocking woods over and not really an threat this super shredder will give you an run for your money and have an anxiety attack or an nightmare because fighting him you have to pray to god that you have an good chance fighting him and the other reason why I like this super shredder better than the movie version is because this version is basically a hulk/wolverine with blades all over himself
i feel like you guys should watch tales of the teenage mutant ninja turtles next. mainly because it ties in to the recent movie plus it’ll be out & new by the time you guys are done with this series. PLUS it’s only 12 episodes so you don’t have to sit through seasons. could just watch it then go to the next like 2003 or rise.
