The McPlant USA rollout is just starting now, but it's already hit a few countries in select locations. I don't have access yet so I'm excited to pass the mic over to my friends in London who will let you know what they think!
Have you tried the new vegan McPlant burger? Will you when it's available near you? Or will you never tough McDonald's with a 50 ft pole because they have been notoriously vegan un-friendly and are one of the last fast food chains to jump on the plant-based burger bandwagon? So...would you try it? No judgement either way! I loathe McDonald's and wish it didn't exist in the world, but I still LOVE that they are finally doing this. This is such a significant step in human history!
No Michelle we would not try it. We don't eat at fast food places.
Hell yes, I'd try it lol. How does it compare to BK's Impossible Whopper? I've had that and it's pretty damn good imo...tastes a bit odd when by itself, but when mixed w/the lettuce, tomato, mayo, onion etc, it is tasty enough.
Depriving people of protein and iron is a significant step in human history, that's for sure.
I will be first in line if it ever shows up here in Michigan!!!

We have 2 locations in Dallas testing them out, it’s a good classic burger. Hopefully they roll it out nationwide would be great for road-trips!

It’s in 2 locations in Southern California. I saw a taste test from a non vegan on my local news station and he loved it.

During our vacation in the UK this past July 2023, I was able to taste a McPlant Burger and it was delicious! I hope to see them in the U. S. soon!

Lounge at occasional weak moments when I just want something fast, in my car, a comfort food from my childhood; they taste delicious but never comes out well if you know what I mean. Anyway am certainly glad they are rolling out the McPlant, definitely a step in a better direction. Anything to stop the madness of animal ag! Can't wait for an entire world of vegan, won't that be great?! The single greatest relief of unnecessary suffering for over 10,000 years. Thx for all you do Michelle.

Interesting to know the chemicals in the patty. Clearly it is fake -> implies its loaded with chemicals
The ingredients in a McDonald's burger bun are pretty scary (the bun which comes with any animal based burger): Ingredients: Enriched flour (bleached wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), water, high fructose corn syrup and/or sugar, yeast, soybean oil and/or canola oil, contains 2% or less of the following: salt, wheat gluten, calcium sulfate, calcium carbonate, ammonium sulfate, ammonium chloride, dough conditioners (may contain one or more of the following: sodium stearoyllactylate, datem, ascorbic acid, azodicarbonamide, mono- and diglycerides, ethoxylatedmonoglycerides, monocalcium phosphate, enzymes, guar gum, calcium peroxide), sorbic acid, calcium propionate and/or sodium propionate (preservatives), soy lecithin. Might be a good idea to skip the bun, too.

I wouldn’t touch their stuff with a barge pole. By buying anything of theirs means you’re supporting the cruelty of meat production and the destruction of the rainforests. McDonalds should be avoided at all costs.
