Yay for a new video. I'm so looking forward to this book; I got my preorder in for it and the new 2 faction starter already, but had no idea there was THIS much awesomeness in the book.

Loved this. I was surprised I am keen for the magic and campaign stuff - it looks not too crazy and something I'd enjoy playing. Nice to see Elohi getting some love with the Seer - hope something like that seeps through to the CoK changes, I like them as mobile grinders but there is a big hole in my old alpha strike tactics that hasn't been filled...yet :)
Would be lovely to see some highlights of the CoK-style unit tweaks a la your Army Previews you did for 3rd Edition.
I know it is only a week but I am basing stuff right now :)

Thanks Kyle! Any chance you can do a similar teaser video for clash of kings updates for those of us who dont podcast?

Does this book still offer anything different to those that are just jumping in with the red book?

Very little outside of campaign material. Any of the unit stats and rules are outdated after the red book. With the Shadowed Horizons campaign right around the corner, I'd suggest just waiting for that. Plus, no need to buy a book with it.

So you’re saying there’s never enough Jesse?

To be honest I was most disappointed with the book. The campaign rules are not really all that much and don’t really warrant a 20£ book. I mean, the rules are neat but there’s not really a campaign system (I know, it’s a question of expectations on my part rather than a Mantic fault) and the fluff part isn’t fantastic - mostly it compares, sizewise, to the warcry monsters and mercenaries book, and is 25% more expensive, which isn’t really great value for money

This book is not worth buying. Sorry. Don't mean to be a naysayer... just calling it truthful.
