- As a lover of both classical music and synths, I can't believe that it took me until 2023 to do a rendition of Pachelbel's brilliant Canon.
From Wikipedia - "Pachelbel's Canon (also known as the Canon in D, P 37) is an accompanied canon by the German Baroque composer Johann Pachelbel. The canon was originally scored for three violins and basso continuo and paired with a gigue, known as Canon and Gigue for 3 violins and basso continuo. Both movements are in the key of D major."

C'est magnifique....!
I was instantly invited to close my eyes and to visualize the melodies. Well done.
Extraordinary! Lovely tones and arrangement.
This had always been one of my favorites ever since I was young, mostly liking the Christmas rendition. It wasn't ubtil I discovered it on synth was when I loved it even more! I'm almost 18, and THIS rendition hit the nail right on the head! Plus the addition of the ballerina and cathedral images really add to the holiness of the piece, certainly a blessing by God to all. You've done well, Pachelbel would be proud!
Beautiful, lush tones, Sean! I can almost tell which lines were played by the Oberheim. I just took delivery of my Prophet 10 yesterday and can’t wait to get it onto my next track. This was so nice. I appreciate the time and love you put into this!!
one of my favs!

Prophet 10 Rev 4?
Great, brilliant, magnificent !
Thanks! Yes, rev4
Like I have always said, those baroque and classical composers would have loved and embraced synthesizers.
A lovely track, Sean. Bravo, sir! I've just posted this one in the Incredible Synth Performances thread.
Then you simply always said stupid things.
I really enjoyed your rendition, however it's a shame about the intro theme! It takes away from its purity, that you've realised excellently.
