Actually broke my heart when Pamela said if we see a white feather or a rainbow I say “oh there’s your sister” 😞😞 absolutely heart breaking. Words cannot describe the heart ache I feel for this woman and her family. What I will say is that she’s an absolute trooper for dealing with it and marching on. I don’t understand why people would want to video her having a drink with her friend?! I think we should all take a leaflet out of this woman’s book, she’s went through through SO much that most of us won’t ever face in our lives!! But this woman is marching on and getting on with her life because she’s got a family to look after! Facing it head on is the best thing to do. I wish nothing but love and respect to Pamela and her family. ❤️
Rachel I was close friends with Paige , she was a gorgeous wee girl taken in a horrific way , Paige is such a miss to everyone she really was a pleasure around people so respectful she wouldn't ever hurt anybody , it's wrong the way the papers have betrayed Pamela , Paige's story should be heard because it was totally devastating it broke our hearts that such a lovely wee girl was killed ? Especially Paige such a tiny wee girl with such a bright future of her like I said Paige was absolutely gorgeous and every time I seen she she would have a gorgeous smile on her face , John is a evil evil man who should be locked up forever and not let out I hope his life is destroyed , because he destroyed all of ours taking wee Paige who wouldn't hurt anybody , rest easy my pal see you again soon paigey xxxxx

Paige got on my bus and asked me if i went to kirkintilloch...she got on a few times after that and was aways very polite..i knew it was her right away when the news broke months later and other driver reconised her...terrible...i have to admir the mother..total repect for this family !!!...is it not time child murderrs got life in scotland with no chance of release...to get reduced sentence is a disgrace.

The Scottish justice system is a joke it’s the only place in the uk that has the “not proven” verdict which means guilty people can walk free if a jury is split. And the case can’t be heard again without fresh evidence, it’s disgusting.

i know i’m seeing this very late, but god, that woman has helped me through so much, as odd as it sounds. i lost a young friend last year and after watching this, i came to so many realizations. my friends were portrayed wrong in the media lots. i’ve learned to take the term fake news more seriously now. i started being able to understand carrying on with life after the death and not having guilt. the looking at rainbows or a white flower and spotting paige- it’s one of the most beautiful metaphors i’ve heard. the courage it takes for this woman to go through what she has and come out so beautiful, articulate, and powerful in her own way....i can only pray she knows how many people she’s inspired and helped along their own journey through grief and death, without ever realizing it. thank you so much Pam, may paige rest in peace. another note, thank you james for this interview! too many shy away or walk on egg shells in a rude way when interviewing people going through grief. you respectfully brought up all the topics and let the both of you take the conversation wherever it went. absolutely stunning xx
Agree Meghan. She has handled herself with such class and dignity that it’s impossible not to be inspired. Telling the other family members not to attack the monster that took their precious Paige from them in court was incredible. It reflects so well on them as a family. I’d almost certainly have failed at that. Salt of the Earth this family, and wish them nothing but many happy times which Paige would have wanted.

Shes is such a inspiration... My father was murdered in 2011 and i can really relate to her mindset and feel how she is about never ever forgiving the scumbag who took my father away from my father.. So james thank you very much for This episode.. It has really helped me out

James, i've watched so many of your podcasts and stumbled across this one not knowing anything about the story (In truth, the podcasts of yours that i've watched have been the ones with gangsters and the stories they have to tell). Once I started watching this I couldn't stop and boy, how this lady has got through is just amazing. I'm a single guy with no children and so I don't know what its like to be a father, yet, family is everything to me (my mum and dad have been my world) and I just couldn't imagine losing someone in the way Pamela has. The way you interviewed this lady was so respectful and dignified and I loved the way your emotions came through and how you didn't push her at any stage. As i'm sat here, right now, at this minute, I can type, but i'd struggle to talk. One of the worst things that could ever happen to someone has happened to this lady and the fact that she's still putting one foot in front of the other is a miracle. The people who've had a go at this lady are just rotten, rotten to the core and there are just no words for them (well, none that i'd put on your page). What an inspirational lady she is, Paige would be very proud and not just of her mum, but of her whole family too.............x

All I see is a mother that’s completely emotionally closed off to deal with her trauma .. bless her heart . I just hope when ( & it will come ) that someone is there to catch her .. she’s a mother of 4 , maternal instinct is STRONG.. and nature helps us mothers .. I lost the love of my life , my Grandfather when I was 10 weeks pregnant with my youngest & I couldn’t understand why I felt ‘cold’ .. I learned afterwards from an old midwife that ‘our ‘ maternal hormones kick in to protect the unborn & our other kids .. it makes perfect sense if you remember we are just animals - Pamela has a tsunami of grief ahead when it hits .. anyone that says or thinks ‘she should be more emotional’ are shallow & idiots- she’s a strong, strong mother that’s holding it together without knowing it .. James, absolutely love your empathy 👍
And post natal depression hit me hard ! That was 18 years ago - I’m 50 now & only just re building - I lost my business, home & mental health .. never underestimate a so called ‘ cold person’ it’s all pent up inside to protect us ironically - anxiety is a side effect of pent up emotions too .. respect to Pamela but I can’t help but worry bless her - I don’t know why she’s getting hate ? Sort your empty lives out if you’re one of them .
