Finally my biggest restoration project (yet) is ower. It was 29 days of hard work. Now it is ready for all my plans to came real :) Enjoy the video. :)
WoW! Too many critics.30 days 10 hrs aday, probably more, @ even $30 an hr. Bless You for Your Commitment To Save a Piece of History! Some of YOU Guys should be ashamed!
Atta boy! Good time and good result. I probably would have fussed over the paint to long and added another week. Good work rescuing this old machine from the rust heap.
I'd of loved to have seen that powder coated. Wouldn't need a paint job for another 100 years. Still, I fully understand the cost and environmental hazards for such a rebuild. What a rebuild, get a kiss from the Missus and the dog all in one show. Well done .
Really nice job. If people click on a video about a power hammer restoration then complain about the music, I don’t know what to say. That’s a nice hammer. I like the shepherd cameo also
A big congrats on getting your power hammer and love the the refinish But you had me scared when I seen the white paint LOL Great job on the paint job and redoing the electrical work as well Thumbs Up
At the moment I’m working on a Colchester Bantam mk1 800 from 1964 although it only has an electrical fault it still has the odd bit of rust for me to clean off. Also I’m about the same age as you as well.
Loved it! Working man resto. All the negative comments are from people who will never get off the couch and achieve anything. Anyone who has restored a machine for personal use understands, get it running so I can beat on some metal. Great job, looking for a power hammer myself.
For those complaining- the jazz piano is well-matched to the 10 times speed action of the parts removal. I imagine, as the machine's nameplate looks Croation, the guys don't speak English, AND we get to hear the actual hammer demolishing wood piece at end! While the word 'restoration' is exaggerated here. Clean paint and reassemble is accurate. Nevertheless, the lads get my thumbs up for good videography+ dog. :-)
Fantastic music (really). Sorry all. Got sick of reading comments from people to stupid to find the mute. Marek can you please post the artist / song in your videos (be polite to a different kind of artist). Personally I was expecting comments about how a person who buys this kind of thing should be able to make a trolley to move it. Nope. Just music and paint / whine and complaint. I am looking forward to seeing all Mareks plans (be)come real(ity). More videos like this please. Thank you.
this was an awesome undertaking, and i like the music, probably a lot more than your neighbors are goingf to like the sound of that hammer. but hey great job
probably should have made the base much bigger so you could stand on it.. put steel pockets at the corners so the whole power hammer and standing area are now floating on air suspension bags from trucks or buses.. reducing the hammer forces on the concrete pad, your building and the soil for several blocks around.. air suspension.. you could even build that up to slip under the existing wooden block base.. will probably need to have your stereo blasting a track from the 9 inch nails first album.
On a smaller size prako hammer I spent 2 months... stripped the hammer to bare casting, used bondo, polyurethane paint.. buffed all the metal partns clean and shiny... relathed some of the parts and scraped in the slides.. this is just a paint job in my opinion :P I'm sure you're not even using the right lubrication products... plus all your neighbors will be happy.. you have not created an antivibration foundation for the hammer (switching of several soft and hard layers to absorb the vibrations).. given certain conditions the hammer strikes of a hammer this size can be felt 10 houses away.
That's what I was thinking. I didn't really see much real work done here to the machine surfaces or bearing placement. I hope this isn't indicative of typical refurbished machines.
No this guy obviously has zero machining experience and probably doesn't even own proper metalworking machines. So it's not a restoration but just a cleanup and a paint job.
Those boys did GREAT work!! I LOVED watching them do their thing By Golly!! THANKS!!
Thank you for coment 👍 enjoy another videos 😊
I like how you show the amount of time it took to restore this item. Simple but appreciated touch
Your neighbors are just going to love you
That is an inspirational video of patience, persistence and purpose.Well done!
Excellent video and nice job on your hammer. LOVED the ragtime piano! Goes very well with the sped up video.
Awesome job restoring that power hammer!! Great effort! Looking forward to see it in action!!
One of the best and most entertaining videos on CZcams. Thanks

Excellent job restoring that amazing hammer! I am so jealous right now, kudos!
That is a smart man there...painted the machine in a outfit of nearly the same color.
It was new 58 years ago, and now it's new again! Great video!
A good steam cleaning, no disassemble, re-lube. Ready to use. Original finish was perfect, character.
Great video. I like the way you tested the hammer out by crushing that 2×4. Priceless.
And not a single appearance by Charlie Chaplin.
I love this video. The piano is perfect for this!
love what you do, this is such a cool channel!!!
Atta boy! Good time and good result. I probably would have fussed over the paint to long and added another week. Good work rescuing this old machine from the rust heap.
I can see some beautiful upcoming projects :D
I would never have the patience or skill to rebuild this machine. You made it just like new.
Nice job fella .... a decent balance between complete strip and restoration and a functional tidy result. Also extra thumbs for the stunning GSD...
Congrats, you are the proud owner of the fabled "portable earth quake machine".
but it is big helper :)
Beautiful! Beautiful! Well done!

I loved it. The music is spot on.
I love work, I can watch for hours how others work.
That is some solid dedication and love for machining right here
b3m
He didn't even remove the rust and old paint before slapping another coat on... breaks my heart.
Dude that's awesome. Hope to see some video of you using it soon
your neighbors must love you
Awesome job man!
The next person I see who plays piano is getting a punch in the face in retaliation for this music.
Lol I'm gonna vomit the next time I hear this song.
Settle down now tough guy
People who can’t mute a video should not be outside alone. Just finish your beer and go home.
@ Robert Queberg....Most classic response, EVER!
about to lose my mind listening to this.
Beautiful job

What a rebuild, get a kiss from the Missus and the dog all in one show. Well done .
58 yo hammer, 2017 controls. Nicely done!
Fun vidja; good choice on the toonage selection.
Really nice job. If people click on a video about a power hammer restoration then complain about the music, I don’t know what to say. That’s a nice hammer. I like the shepherd cameo also

The color matching the shirt, and...the Dog! LOL
Amazing restoration! I wish I could restore stuff but I live in an apartment and i have to put chairs on my bed to do push ups so I guess I'll wait.
nice work that turned out beautiful! I'm 14 and currently restoring an old 800-pound Delta Rockwell lathe
When I was 14 years old I could barely construct a bowl of cereal, hot damn!
Good luck!

hope you learnt how not to half heartedly throw paint on a beautiful machine
I was 16 when I helped restore a commercial dough mixer. The things I learned back then stuck with me to this day.
Alright now for some Damascus swords
WOW
WHAT A SKILL AND HARDWORKING
Lot of work just to bust up some splinters!
Nice job on the restoration.
Great Job!
Nice work, thanks for the video.

Restoration is dismantle, clean, lick of paint
this was an awesome undertaking, and i like the music, probably a lot more than your neighbors are goingf to like the sound of that hammer. but hey great job
I had to quite half way through, I couldn't take the piano music any more. I liked the GSD!
Looks great! Cats and dogs like i too!

Thanks frind :)
Excelente su martillo pilón,muy bueno su trabajo
Krásná práce.
Fuck me that is one of the best restoration videos of such big machinery i have seen yet..... really nice work.
Awesome ! Thank you.
Wahnsinn.Gut gemacht
not stripping off the old paint ruffled my jimmies, but besides that, great restoration

nice project bro
Super!!!👍👍👍
Good job Marek :D
Terrific job.
Larry Bair why???
He said "terrific" not "terrible".
Terrific job is a positive gesture.
Хорошая работа. Молодцы мужики.
Pinstripes. It needs performance-enhancing pinstripes.

glad I wasn't the only one thinking this was a lot of work for a sloppy paint job
When I saw that white stuff "slapped" on I was like what kind of paint remover is that.. It was the primeRRR lol. Yup just a clean up is all.
u restored my faith in humanity a little , most of these so called restoration jobs on youtube are just sloppy paint jobs ( not even propper)
Finally, a way to smash that pesky kindling into smithereens
Your neighbors must hate you now. I love to see you restore this thing.
Good job
Seems like a stretch to call this a restoration, seems more like a tear-down and repaint if anything. Oh well, still a cool looking wood smasher.
Está merece tudo de bom pelos grandes trabalhos prestados a todos. ...
