What your saying doesn't make sense. U talking about Legends in sports retiring due to age or personal matters which are REAL but WWE is all scripted ,its all acting . They can just let him win and retire .Even Legends will have a celebration at the end of their career by inviting the best team to play against or honor them in such way not let them lose purposely .Whats the problem if they let them win their retiring match. You really think a 50 year old would beat someone younger and probably stronger? Sometimes you have to ensure everything makes sense. You wouldn't see Hornswoggle beat Brock Lesnar now would you?
