No doubt that your works will be desirable 150 years from now and the past masters would be in awe of your abilities. I work with tiny electronics and when I saw you removing 1 micron of material from a shaft and the other parts that were all made by hand, I was very impressed and inspired! Thank you for sharing your story.

I posted this on the documentary video, but I wanted to let you know that you have our full support.
It is beautiful to know even today that there are still people that believe in heart and history like this. Good work to this young man, he is well-deserving for all of the praise in the world he gets for honoring his ancestors and pouring such love into his devices. I hope his creations touch the heart of everyone who comes into contact with them. They are as he says, living through their delicate mechanical processes - calling the ticking a heart beat (in the documentary). A timepiece is another life. His story is beautiful and I wish him the best, and for the safety of the watches I hope give another many generations inspiration through their heart beats... No price tag could ever be put on what you would feel when you touched one of these watches.... Its amazing...

I Wish I could have one of his piece of art on my wrist.
I would be incredible proud to let the people discover this Great Artist, Fine Watchmaker.... and an inspirational person!
If an object could have a soul, his creations have it for sure. And I do believe in this. One of the most beautiful thing about his art is the passion and the efforts he puts in his work.
I wish he will read this comment and feel my admiration for him and his hard work.

he is very inspiring to me. i watched the documentary about his japanese time piece he invented around the time i came up with my own escapement invention. i never thought i could make a watch, i assumed i was too incapable. finally, after i got my hands on a cad software, i taught myself to use it, then started making my inventions on it. never having figured out gear ratios, the cad taught me how to calculate them. i can't afford the tools he has, having a simple chinese table top mill. i'm trying to figure out my own fabrication method with the limited resources i have, so i don't have to cut out 180 gear teeth by hand, on a metal ring the size of a quarter... watches are one of the pinnacles for an inventor. i've invented two escapements now. sadly, they are only on cad still. i'm obsessed with time. as a philosopher, time has haunted me, as much as anyone else. making a watch is something i have to do. like my paintings.

Well, at the time I figured he would've had a small shop with a few apprentices. But when I looked further into his work, discovered that he does it all at his house! Finishing work, assembly and fine tuning in a spare bedroom, a spare toilet turned into a metal finish area and a machine shop in his garage! Basically he has my dream setup lol. But yeah, totally independent as you say.

Certainly I can not hear anything.
      However, I thought as follows.
The sound is small enough to not hear the minimal processing, silence as infinitely.
Sounds made rattling when cutting a thousandth of a millimeter will not be heard.
Listen to the sound you can not hear and try to see what you can not see.
