I'm 62 and lift about 4 times a week and boulder twice a week. Not too much going to failure unless I am happy to follow with several rest days or at least light exercise days. Over on Natacha Oceane's channel, there's a video where she argues for three or four (at most) intense sessions a week. A true HIIT session is intense, a hard lifting session is intense, and, unless you know how to stop before you are fatigued, a bouldering session is probably hard. So a total of 3 from that list for most of us or 4 for hardcore types. BTW: Usually do my heavy deadlifts at the end of a bouldering session and have a rest day the next day. Probably also have a big snack and a nap when I get home from that too!
