I usually do not like plastic imitations of greenery, but this turned out so pretty and is very practical for an outdoor wreath. You did good!!!

LOVE YOUR WREATH! I ACTUALLY HIT THE 'MOTHER LOAD' OF SUCCULENTS THIS WEEK!!! ALSO HAVE SOME LEFTOVER FROM LAST YEAR. I AM MAKING MY DAUGHTER A WREATH FOR HER BIRTHDAY. I MAY MAKE MYSELF ONE IF I HAVE ANY LEFTOVER. SUCCULENTS ARE 'ALL THE RAGE' LATELY!
I LOVE SUCCULENTS so this is a Must Try DIY for me. I got burlap from my local Dollar Tree. It comes on a ribbon roll and its a few inches thick. You can find it with the rest of the ribbon rolls.
Aren't they great!? I'm so glad DT started carrying them! Thanks for the tip about the burlap! I'll have to look for that next time I go, which may be today lol!

I love he look of succulent wreaths but so far I haven't seen any of the picks just the ones in pots which I picked up a few of. I know I could just use those ones but I like the look of the different sizes and it would take more of them if I just used the smaller ones.

Any suggestions on how to keep succulent on wreath besides hot glue. Our front door gets to much hot sun and stuff comes off.

Would sheet moss work instead of burlap? I want to make a wreath with real succulents and I'm trying to figure out how to include soil and green better so they'll grow.

I would recommend a foam wreath, yes! Dollar tree's were only 10" size and not big enough for what I wanted. I had to get everything from the dollar tree for this project, but you could find a bigger wreath at Walmart/Craft store. Yes, you could totally do the moss first too. I didn't want it overwhelming the wreath, just spots here and there so I chose to do it last. Whatever works for you though, go for it!
The foam wreath forms at dollar tree are tiny. However, you may be able to get one from walmart, it just won't be $1
Yes they are tiny. A little too small for a front door wreath, unless you are really fluffing it up. The wire wreath was just the right size though
