The end had me crying at first amazing well made movie a lot of scenes felt like real cinema it was just amazing and don’t listen to any haters keep working hard.
Sad and great story I hope u do more of this. The personal stories of the brave men and women that sacrificed their lives to protect us today should b seen as tribute them and there families present and past. Lest we forget
I think the man carrying the carbine also has a bandoleer of Garand ammo. at the opening scene the picture shows a boot with a knife sheath strapped to it. That is a sheath for an M3 fighting knife. At least they got that right...…..closing, hair long sideburns long. He wouldn't have gotten out of camp.
Wrong, there was no game Your thinking of the "Brothers in arms" series, besides sharing a get words in the title, the two pieces of fiction aren't related at all
Very good storyline of world war 2 with some good action, camera shots weren’t bad but what got me was the neglect of the important details, for instance the haircuts, the uniforms and other finer details but overhaul worth watching.
We cant still not today belive what all the soldiers both from allies and russian german japanese and so, what they have been houng throught, and what they have seen also all the civilians WW1 WW2 korea and vietnam war, was hell on earth my granddad was part of the underground ressistence here in denmark, he was making fale pasport and identification papera, he was helping ppl and jews to escape to sweden and then england, he was and still is my hero and a big inspiration to me, even that hea no longer is alive. Yes war sucks war is a hell and ppl are traumatized, but WHYYY cant we humans not learn from the past, whyyy are we so ignorent and stupid and making the same mistakes over and over again
To the technical and storyline critics. Let me know when you are going to put the time and effort in to producing , filming, writing, budgeting, editing, and cast calling for your first film. I cannot wait to review yours. At least this man is out there trying to keep history alive under constraints I am sure.
The Bible says in Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. Salvation is in faith, but we must first realize that we're lost sinners and will die and burn in hell for eternity without Christ, once we see ourselves, all one needs to do is repent of their sins, and put their faith in God: believing with all their heart that He will forgive every sin. And asking Him to save their soul from hell with all faith and all sincerity! Believe in God and He will save you today.
Tabby G Joshua 1:7-8 “Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to observe the law which Moses commanded you; do not turn to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go. The book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have success.” Observe the commandments of Yehovah and do what is instructed you in the Torah. For these things you must do in order to obtain His favor. Faith alone does not save you, but keeping His commandments will.
Some times most of soldier's are don't thinking that they are in the war! So if you are in the war be aware that your enemy is out there and watching you to shoot if you are always at a sitting dock position!
How long does it usually take for you to write a script for a film this long? Btw awesome film, awesome acting, everything is just....great! Can't wait for more!
When writing a script, think as one page to be one minute of film (excluding acting, longer fighting/intense sequences) I personally can write something like this in a couple of days (not including proofing and each individual draft) but I do have some years of experience behind me.
I liked the script!!! But, as a professional photographer myself, was very disappointed with cameraman!!! In quite a few shots the heads of one of two guys in episode were cut. This is very unprofessional. And like someone mentioned, the sideburns on a soldier???? Seriously? In what army would this be allowed? Pls polish your next movie. Best of luck!
make a film with the theme of time travel ... a team of American soldiers with modern weaponry equipment accidentally trapped back to 1944 where there was a second world war between the American army and the German army ... they were in a dilemma between defending their lives but not wanting to change history about the second world war on the continent of Europe..this is a story idea that can be developed in the film. Thank you.GBU
Great short movie. Glad Robert made it. I thought he got shot in the head, or was he the one who lost his leg from the grenade? Didn't he get left for dead by his comrades?
Who was your military advisor? Who walks in the open behind enemy lines and then sits with their helments off and has a nice little chat without being on guard? They are both dead men for being stupid! I couldn't get past minute 6:00.
James Clark It’s funny, I saw the exact same things you just condemned this film for in Saving Private Ryan, and nobody bats an eye. And their military advisor was a retired Marine who should have known better than that too.
Pas en français Ni sous titre cela est AGAÇANT de manquer ce film AINSI QUE les AUTRES " que j'adore mais ne comprenant pas la LANGUE ? C désolant pour Moi !)
Very poignant story...but seriously flawed besides haircuts... Hard to believe that 2 of the best trained soldiers of WW II (2 years)...would waltz thru an open field like they were on a bird hunt...! Gave it a Thumbs Up though.
@@frednesbittjr.7862 Yes, that and several other flaws. But, I guess they were constrained to finish a film and no time to check small details that would have made it much more believable. Notice too at the end, I saw no indication of a prostatic leg. All in all, it was a good story though.
@@Lemozal64 Sir, if you would check your history you would see that before leaving England all troopers were clean shaved and had almost all hair cut off. Most had Mohock haircuts. The military has not allowed men to go into combat situations with sideburns or long hair since the civil war.
I would think that the actors were volunteers and had full time jobs. I am great full they did the film. The youth of today no little or no history at least they get an idea from short films like this.
and chain saws lol it was no saving private Ryan for sure. also..wouldn't the 2 guys have passed each other on the driveway? I mean, she just got the letter and there he is knocking on her door.
Point of personal privilege: why would they take actors from the Midwest and have them say they are from the "hills of Tennessee"? I grew up and live in Memphis, Tennessee, and have lived in Knoxville (400 miles away) and Chattanooga (320 miles away). I would never believe Jones was from Tennessee, much less "the hills" (eastern Tennessee). Appalachia has its own culture and dialect distinct from "Southern." I'm not as familiar with Kentucky, but Rollins sounds more Midwestern as well. Sorry - now back to the movie...
so bad so bad just walking in open fields shouting at each other .some one in the trees so lets just stand there in the open . ya well written script ..
This story was directed by someone who has never experienced the fear and adrenaline of combat. I mean, two soldiers lost, aimlessly walking thru open fields during an allied landing asking each other stupid questions. Hmmm..
Well, the dogs could have been around on various farms, even if the farms had been evacuated. And the Germans certainly had some dogs with them at times. But the chainsaw? Yup, I heard that. A bit strange, for sure.
I am speechless this is just...It’s to good these people need to go too Hollywood.
Thankyou PP for this earlier "Film Project"....
It really deserves more credit. :(
The end had me crying at first amazing well made movie a lot of scenes felt like real cinema it was just amazing and don’t listen to any haters keep working hard.
Very touching movie, with a lot of emotion and flash backs on how life could have been if lives had not been lost, well done .
This should have a lot more views and likes

Wwtwo films always come across strong and clear. The free world was fighting for survival, its not so clear cut these days.
Amen God Bless Robert & Sarah Abundantly
Also I loved the load outs they were really cool especially the main character.

Exceptionaly wonderful, the whole lot. Cast, dialogue, sparse soundtrack. Bravo!

Eh, I don't know about that, having an M4 in 1944 Normandy
Plus, the whole time travel concept is too ...over the top
Also, your very persistent, you don't want them to think about making that film, your telling them they have to make that film
Great short movie. Glad Robert made it. I thought he got shot in the head, or was he the one who lost his leg from the grenade? Didn't he get left for dead by his comrades?
next time make sure the actors keep the same weapon .
Too short.
I want be your actor
Only thing is, the captions are like bad lip reading

Hi, I’m the guy who played Jones, and I actually am from the hills of Tennessee. I just got a good English education.
For someone to be beaten like that and no blood or bruises
maybe they forgot the bottle of ketchup. they still did a good production
