#airfryer #meatpie - Jak na to + styl
I have this video bookmarked because I forget the temperature and cook time nearly every time I go to heat up a frozen meat pie. Greg, you're a lifesaver.
I use to defrost in a microwave then a little oven but is this right that you can do the whole process from frozen
@@dalegrant7015100% you can do the whole thing from taking it out of the freezer and cooking it for the first time and you can also reheat a previously cooked one and it will remain crispy on the outside and the meat doesn't dry out and remains moist on the inside. I have not turned our traditional oven on since we purchased the air fryer. I have not come across anything that cannot be cooked in the air fryer.
Good luck and let us know how you get on 🌻
Today's the day of the news if I have cancer, I'm getting a ultrasound and I'm really worried. Thanks Greg for uploading Fantastic, humerous videos and wishing Me a happy birthday yesterday!
good luck
Prayers sent.
Yes I am praying for you too.
Thanks guys, hopefully it's not because I just turned 13 and I thought it was puberty
@@trimuryani2451so did you get colon cancer or not
Im re-watching again to remember the temp and cook time. Your a gem Greg
Spot on...perfect pie every time ..thanks greg
I tried this. It turned out perfectly.
i like to heat it in the microwave for about 2 minutes to heat it up, then 4-5 minutes in the air fryer to fully cook and crisp it always comes out beautiful and crispy
I do same - wrap in paper towel and about 2 mins in micro and then air fry
@@buddajoseph sounds like good advice, i'll try it. edit: success. microwave 850W output for two minutes wrapped in paper towel, then air fryer 180C for 5 minutes was just right. In the air fryer by itself made the pie crust too hard.
Thank u, very helpful, short and simple
Ahahaha!!! Loved your video Greg! Perfect instructions and so many belly laughs😂
we have the exact same airfryer, perfect guide
havent used the oven since we bought this very air fryer.
Yeah it's bloody good!
You can also microwave it and then finish it in the air fryer or oven to crisp the pastry. In about 10 mins instead of 25
Yep thats what I do. Microwave then 6 mins @ 200c
Greg’s way is better
shorter time times longer to heat the oven up and cost so much more to run the oven
@@ReadAloudRealm why 200 instead of 180?
I do 2 min microwave & 7-8 min air fryer at 180 & then put cheese on top and put back on for 2 min at 200
Cheers mate! Just the right video I needed!
Yes this is exactly what I needed to see
I love cooking things in my air fryer have cooked pies in there too they come out so nice .
You’ve once again saved my life
Another great vid grego 👍
I put a frozen pie on my fryer, but the 25 mins was a bit long, I think I'll try 15 mins. next time, but still crisp and well cooked. I have no taste or smell, so I cannot tell you any more.10/10 all round. And I am from Scotland.
it works well I do this all the time
Helpful video mate, loved it! Got a good laugh in too, Cheers!
Been doing this myself Greg with the Mrs Mac’s pies. I had a ham & cheese toastie this morning done in the air fryer. Good stuff!
Now that is still very yummy yo and enjoyable plus good idea
Bloody brilliant!
Definitely going to do this, just gotta go get four n twenty peppered pies. Yum, thanks Greg.
Hey GregO...Great Vlog even if it was just reheating a pie in the AF...I still get a laugh 😂👍💕
This was fun and humorous to watch. I think I should get an Airfryer I've wanted one for ages.
You will not regret getting one, so many to chose though. Have fun!!!!!!?????
hows the air fryer?
@@suave-rider
I’m really enjoying it. I purchased two so far. Gave one to my brother. Tefal air fryer deluxe. And I have the tefal air fryer steam and grill. Use them regularly and love them. I like to cook my own potato wedges, grill salmon and steam vegetables.
2 mins in the micro to defrost, then a few /couple-ish mins in the air fryer till crispy.
Thats what I do.
Your way is good too! Don't come for me.
Greg, I’d have to comment over all the years I’ve been watching you. These short videos are not the business. I need more then 2 minutes of greggo
That's what she said
then why don't u add all his videos to watch later and watch EVERYTHING non stop. this channel and grego channel and the gardner one. i rewatch some videos cause i can't get enough of gregoooo
I just referred back to this old video Greg thanks very handy
You've outdone yourself this time greggo 😂
Thanks Greg, I was wondering how to cook this frozen pie when all I have right now is an air fryer.
More air fryer videos please Greg!
I recommend Air roaster from as seen on tv, and genie pressure cooker, definitely genie, I got the both of them and the air roaster pro, which is conventional oven, absolutely lovely....once you know how to use everything, bye bye to pots lol, can't wait to make a shepherds pie and lasagnia dripping with Chrispy cheese, tomatoes helopenos as a topping, sweet chili sauce. Perfect for baking three different roasts or the same if you thinking about feeding a big crowd.
Hey Greg, I so need to get an air fryer the pie looks yummy :-)
Yummy thankyou for sharing
thanks for watching
Is there anything you can do You're a genius 🍻😃
They look really good for a home brand pie.
Coles homebrand has some pretty good stuff tbh
Thank you!
Loving the skin Greggo do a skincare routine for the boys we’ve all been asking
just about to try this with 2 pies because its twice the yummo... ps gave a thumbs up
I'm trying it out now, hopefully it's good
I remember having ‘No frills’ pies were so good.
I have one of these too from Kmart. Been impressed from day one. Jacket potatoes are one of my favourites
Can't wait to buy the pie maker machine, I love to make spicy dishes, can't wait to make my own spice collection
1:42 when greggo uploads a new video
So have to invest in one ...love a good pie thanku love an god bless x
Yummo Best vid yet greggo
Nice user name
I use my air fryer all time!!
Cheers matey
Thanks still learning how to cook
Did this with a Four'n'twenty butter chicken pie, mate, fucking beautiful! :D You're the first video that came up and you got a new subscriber, keep up the great work! ^^
Fk I'm choonched though a God fearing bloke and it feels like your video is a tailored blessing for me. Cheers legend!
Thanks! I had one from trader joe’s and wasn’t sure!!
Love you Grego
For the record i did 23 minutes at 180 and mine was overdone. So maybe start with 20 and then add a few more minutes until it gets the right colour. Still ate it of course.
Legend
Thanks.
Thanks
Out here doing the Lord's work Brother 👑
The air "fryer" aka mini convection oven.
You take that back!
@@AussieTVMusic He is right though
Nice!! What about thawed pie Greg? How long?
Hay Greg love the cooking videos...do you have any slow cooker recipes?also how is Bernice how come we dont see her anymore...also looking forward to the next fishing video...cheers..😊
Yummy
I didn’t have a microwave but I had a air fryer !
Loved these instructions
A good presentation and to the point. Loved his delivery and spoked as if you were in the kitchen with him. However, it would be good to see all these type of presentation with the cooking time and level of heat in the title. This would aid in remembering how to cook your attempt. Really enjoyed this presentation, wish there were more like him.
what are those Coles brand meat pies like?
What brand of airfryer this Gregg?
struth! nothing like a bit of authentic aussie stroin when learning how to prepare a pie and dead 'orse! :P
Without this vid, my ol air fryer may as well have been a mickey mouse house. Cheers greg brother
Hey Greg, love your videos, greetings from Tassie. Just curious, what branch Air Fryer do you have?
It's a Kmart airfryer 69 dollars
Bon Appetit 😋🤤
How many farabajingles for 2 pies ?
You didn’t read the ingredients......but it looked pretty good.... just wondering if it was beef, horse or goat....😳😳❤️
There's no steam coming out the pie bro!
I'm trying it out right now!
Needed about 10 mins longer but came out pretty good thanks bro!
Air fryer should be paying you for this! I don't own one yet but I see the many conveniences...
‘some dead horse’ lolz I’ve never heard of my favourite condiment called that 😊💕
Juddiiiiiiiiiiiii
Greg's Kitchen GreggggO 😊
really?? that is saying that has been around a very long time . decades in fact.. :-)
Scott Bryant well, maybe I’ve lived a sheltered life lolz
Sheltered life by the sounds lol
✅👍 Thanks GregO 😊
GregO, the thinking man's cook.
20 minutes in our Philips air fryer, and 12 minutes for a sanger roll. SWMBO thaws them tn the microwave and then gives them 10 minutes in the fryer.
Hi Greg I think I’ve said this before but I find you’re presentation of your video’s very O.T.T but at the same time I would like to thank you for some great recipes
Thanks mate but What setting?... air fryer? Roast? Bake?....
Hi grego you do a none frozen one if you wrap it in foil for 15 mins awesome
thanks Greggo
im gonna need to Afterpay an air fryer now 👍🏻
so good. and really cheap to run.
second hand stores have them sometime i got a new one for 35 yesterday hadnt been used.. also post office had one nee for 79 i think
Gotta get myself an air fryer now
They're bloody good!
This is another method. Thaw pie to room temp. Wrap in foil, heat for 8-10 mins at 175 C turning the pie half way for an even cook. For the last 2 minutes, unfold the foil at the top to crust up the top of the pie or put a slice of cheese on top.
But does this miracle machine do soup????? 🤣🤣🤣
Genie pressure cooker highly reccomend that one from as seen on tv
Who else is here from last fm ? :D
That looks good but for me personally I love it when my pie is piping hot that it burns my tongue but then I always have my tomato sauce to revive the heat
01:40 excited to devour pie
We have the same air fryer and exactly the same brand and size of meat pie.
that was gangsta greg
There’s nothing more Aussie than a meat pie with some dead horse. 🇦🇺
How long for a defrosted pie please
I might be vegetarian but grego i love watching you
Same!
Four'n Twenty Meat Free Pie, from Woolworths
Those things can do anything...
You were on the cans before filming that.? Just asking.?
i cant remember
Yoy are a funny bloke. You should have a tv show! (Maybe you do in Oz. I'm in London so I wouldn't know).
Ooh. Yew rippah
Ferimegingles 😂
My pie instructions say to cover the edges with foil because the edge is thin
When are you making Scottish mince and tatties 🤔
How about you have a crack at cooking some frozen dimmies in this thing mate? I'd love to see how they turn out...Thinkin' of buying one of these contraptions myself!
I throw a couple in to the Ninja Foodi when I do fish and chips, on air crisp setting. It's ok but better if I use the pressure cook or steam function - nothing better than a couple of steamed dimmies with soy sauce.
@@splatcat3434 I've heard about this Ninja Foodie machine and it sounds pretty awesome.
that is amazing. i see air fryers everyday and im so tempted to buy one. i just don't have any more counter space! the sandwich grill will have to go if i get an air fryer. im just not ready for the air fryer commitment
You should do it man, best thing I bought for the kitchen in a long time
knfbnny what do you make with it if u dont mind me asking? Have u burnt urself with the tray being so hot when u pick stuff up?
@@kv9395 I bought the Phillips XXL .. sometimes cook a whole chicken in there, never burnt myself once .. great, great unit
i just bought one today (philips xxl)! i've made the commitment and the sandwich grill is going in the cupboard... see you on the flipside when you make it! :)
Sandwich grill is perfect for steaming creamy mushrooms, add a tiny bit of rice oil and salt, then bench press them, faster than a pot, succulent and juicy if you time it perfectly while adding a little more water and mushroom gravy mix there's your gravy, don't forget the cracked pepper. I always reccomend use handy towels whilst hot to clean sandwich maker thats how I do it 😉
Hi Grego I use microwave my puka pie there lush chicken one the best pies in England my mate.
nice one
They are fucking horrible
1:35 damn Greg you really have to do all that
