I think it's good to leave closing songs unannounced so that people can go through the whole album and witness the greatness or uniqueness of the final song firsthand Like with Call It Fate, Call It Karma or Ode To The Mets, two completely out of left field closing songs that you deserve after going through the full 10 or 8 songs before it
@@happysoc9976 Fab might have deviated a little bit in the studio sure but yeah Jules definitely wrote the first few albums all himself…..the best years
I was waiting for long years to see this live version of "I Can't Win" with a very good quality. Thank you for give me this happiness. This is one of my favorites Strokes songs.
The Strokes, for me , are one of the only bands that has no average albums or tracks in an album. They just glide from perfect sound to perfect sound 👌
Good observation! That is because both songs use a I-IV (1-4) chord progression, and the guitar melodies also mimic each other by playing the second note of the major scale and then landing back on the root of the scale. It's a nice sounding melody, and you have a good ear for catching that!
Black hair Julian knew he was too powerful
This comment is so kpop coded🤭
hes so babyyyy
So powerful
so he made a comeback in 2009
@@nico21377 and he dropped one of the 2nd best album of his career
One of the most underrated Strokes songs. Great performance.
Not underrated! Love this track His harmony with the guitars is so sick.
My go to dance song🎉❤
Nick just casually demolished that solo. God DAMN!
like he does with every solo😮💨
Nick has the juice. the band is tight but Nick always blows the whole piece up
This should have been a single.
To be fair every song on this album is good enough to be a single 😂

Damn good song
Me too bro...
Same. I believe this is the best “ending” of a Strokes song. So urgent.
I live for the 2000’s TV performances
very passionate performance they enjoyed, true artists

2003 Julian most gorgeous human alive
