This is actually crazy. Been listening to rock music for a long time and this is one of the few instances where a live performance sounds exactly like the record.
Yup, they are the masters at duplicating their recordings in their live performances.

Theyre so good. Not zeppelin or anything, but wow! Im melted by memories in my 20s. It all started with the radio song. Last night. They say ccr was on point with timing. Im old school, but who cares! These guys are a legendary band. Im makin' bad decisions. I love that song! My kids do too now. I started with their first album i ghink. Sofa king good! Then reptillia hit the waves. Wow.

When you chain smoke cigarettes all day your voice sounds like it’s coming over a telephone
There are several ways to do it. Most likely their sound engineer did apply compression and changed up the vocal frequencies and gain. Julian has been obsessed with replicating the sound of running vocals through a distorted solid state peavey amp since recording This is it.
In 2022, there are vocal pedals you can use if you don’t have a sound engineer who can do that for you live.

to me this is a big deal, cause I lived in New York when this stokes " thing " was poppin off. I was over at Staten Island Hospital when George Harrison was there. Came to the OR. and autographed a guiter for a RN son on the cancer floor. that moment I was inspired to stop the smoking cigs. it was a big deal. can we do a concert in Wichita Kansas.
