- Recently I traded Jim Fuller the Legendary AK builder for this 5.56 NATO prototype AK. Truly one of a kind. Jim joins me to tell a little bit about the history of this particular kalash. This is perhaps one of the rarest AKs in the country if not the world. It came from his personal collection and was built of an Arsenal SLR 106 base with all his modifications and signature enhancements that would become famous in later AK lines he produced. I always wanted a Fuller AK and now that dream has come true.

OSS suppressors make the aks and Galil’s shoot so soft without making the gun dirty. Especially the shorty’s. And no need for a kns or gas adjustment.

Call it foresight or just luck but i was that guy buying 556 AK's 15 years ago including some Chinese prebans. They were blasphemous but i didn't care. The lgs had to wipe off the dust of a slr 106cr before selling to me at cost ($850) just to get it out of there shop 😅. Love the platform!

My 106cr is my pride and joy to shoot - even over my 104ur (only due to ammo availability) - I also have a 107cr, both SBR’d, but if I can get my hands on a third CR, it’d be the 106 for sure
